Today I want to share my review of Taedon, a Korean pork BBQ restaurant I visited while looking for a good samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly) spot near Geomdan Sageori! The meat quality, the store's cleanliness, and even the free side dishes were all on point, so I really wanted to recommend it to anyone hunting for a good restaurant around Geomdan Sageori 👍

Taedon is located at 139 Wanjeong-ro, Building B 1F, Geomdan-gu, Incheon, about a 7–8 minute walk from Exit 2 of Geomdan Sageori, so accessibility was really good.

From the moment I walked in, I could see the meat being trimmed and managed right there, which was really satisfying. None of that typical greasy BBQ-joint vibe you might expect — it left me with the impression of an upscale samgyeopsal restaurant.
What is the dining room at Taedon like?
As soon as I stepped into Taedon, I felt how clean and pleasant the interior was. None of that greasy, slippery-table smokiness typical of BBQ places — it was really well maintained.
Large hanton platter plus kimchi jjigae for two
Today, for two people, I went with the large size of the top-grade sorted hanton (Korean pork) assortment. Adding kimchi jjigae for ₩5,000 got us a stew packed with meat too, so we ordered that alongside it.
Once we sat down and ordered, jjolmyeon came out as a basic free side. The portion was so generous it barely felt like a freebie, and the seasoning was exactly my taste!!! Spicy, tangy, sweet — perfect for waking up the appetite before the meat even hit the grill!
Which free side dishes does Taedon serve?
The meat we'd been waiting for finally showed up! Just looking at the deep pink hue and clear marbling of the raw meat on the plate, you could tell right away how fresh it was. And by the way, there were a lot of free sides!!!

On the well-heated grill, they started cooking up the chewy pork belly along with mushrooms, eggplant, bracken fern, sour kimchi, and even radish salad — a really generous spread!
With the sizzling sound and the sight of everything browning up nicely, I couldn't help but swallow hard. If you're meeting friends or planning a gathering in Geomdan, I recommend Taedon at Geomdan Sageori~~~
Kunefe sauce with flat dumplings at Taedon
Because of the whole Dubai kunefe craze, kunefe hasn't been easy to find, but here you can actually pair it with the sauce~
But honestly, the biggest standout for me was the flat dumpling! Wrapping the nicely grilled meat in the crispy flat dumpling, then topping it with a bit of the special sauce or jjolmyeon, gave it such a unique texture and really cut through the richness of the meat — genuinely delicious 👍
Self-fried rice: frying it yourself on the grill
After finishing the meat, we ordered the self-fried rice and fried it ourselves right on the grill. Mixing in the leftover meat and shaping it into a heart on the grill added a bit of fun, and it turned out savory, light, and really tasty.
Receipt review event dessert: kunefe ice cream
And here's the real cheat code of this Geomdan Sageori BBQ restaurant — the dessert we got for joining the ✔️receipt review event at the end of the meal! Usually a free dessert is something simple, but this one was next-level just visually. On top of the cold ice cream was a generous pile of crispy kunefe strands and Oreo cookies, and the combination of crunchy texture and sweetness was seriously amazing. Even the cute little shovel-shaped spoon was a nice touch!
