Today I want to introduce a Seogwipo café I found during my Jeju trip!

A view spot where the blue Jeju sea and a green garden unfold before your eyes, and you can also try gentle-on-the-stomach handmade desserts — this is 'Forest Jeongbang.' As the name suggests, Forest Jeongbang is a café near Jeongbang Waterfall.

On a hot summer day... isn't this the best kind of café??!! The café was genuinely, seriously cool and comfortable. Let me leave a detailed review.

Parking and bringing a dog to Forest Jeongbang

Forest Jeongbang has a large dedicated parking lot, so even beginner drivers can park very comfortably. Parking is usually the most stressful part of visiting somewhere by car while traveling, so you don't need to worry about that here.

Forest Jeongbang catches the eye with its orange color and modern steel exterior. Walking toward the entrance, cute character figures and a tangerine basket photo zone welcome you. Still cute every time I look at it. 😆

On top of that, this is a dog-friendly café! It's a wonderful space to relax comfortably if you're traveling Jeju with your beloved dog.

What is the ocean view like from the 2nd floor windows?

Stepping inside Forest Jeongbang, a clean, emotional interior greets you. The scenery beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows was especially great.

It boasts a panoramic view that takes in lush Jeju forest and, further out, the blue Seogwipo sea and islands, all at once. Just sitting still and staring out the window felt healing in itself.

Seating comes in a variety of types too — group tables, seats for two, sofa seats — and I got the sense that not just the main floor but the restrooms as well were kept clean and carefully managed. The space is spacious and parking is well set up, so it seems like a great place to visit as a group.

What we ordered at Forest Jeongbang: drinks and rice cake

We ordered Forest Jeongbang's signature drinks along with a seasonal fruit dessert: a 5,000 won americano, a 7,500 won Udo peanut latte, 7,500 won Jeju Hallabong fresh-squeezed juice, and an 8,500 won Jeju seasonal fruit yogurt rice cake.

Americano and Udo peanut latte

Americano, 5,000 won

The most basic option, the americano, was very clean and refreshing with no bitterness. It's exactly the kind of classic coffee flavor that pairs well with dessert. On a hot day, nothing beats gulping down a cold americano at a café while chatting away.

Udo peanut latte, 7,500 won

A must-try when you come to Jeju — the Udo peanut latte! From the first sip, a rich, nutty peanut aroma hit me, in a heavy, savory latte. The peanut cream and coffee blended smoothly, so I'd strongly recommend it to anyone with an 'old-lady palate' or who loves nutty drinks!

A glass of Jeju Hallabong fresh-squeezed juice

Jeju Hallabong fresh-squeezed juice, 7,500 won

Not an artificial sweetness at all — this is a really fresh, bright juice squeezed straight from real fruit! They said no syrup is added, yet it was so sweet and refreshing. There was also a cool, cheonggyul-like (green tangerine) fragrance, and the aroma spread through my whole mouth. If you want a sugar boost, definitely order this!! It felt like all my travel fatigue washed away.

Maybe because it's made with rice instead of flour, my stomach felt really comfortable even after eating it. Tangy yogurt cream and sweet tangerine pieces were studded throughout, and it wasn't overly sweet, so it went down easily without getting cloying. If you like refreshing desserts, this will definitely satisfy you.

Is Forest Jeongbang worth a stop in Seogwipo?

Forest Jeongbang was a Seogwipo café where I could enjoy gentle, delicious handmade desserts while taking in an open view of the Seogwipo sea. I'd recommend it if you're looking for a dog-friendly Seogwipo café to visit comfortably with your dog, or if you want great drinks and a stunning view before or after visiting Jeongbang Waterfall. The owner was kind too. 😊
