Especially with hanwoo, since the meat's own flavor matters so much, I think side dishes that are clean and light rather than overly heavy or strong-flavored suit it better.

Grilling the female hanwoo we'd picked ourselves right at the table meant it tasted best eaten hot. Since the special assortment has several cuts together, grilling them one by one and noticing the differences between cuts was enjoyable, and it wasn't too much for our kid to handle either.

We also ordered cold noodles for dessert to go with the meat, and it was really delicious too!!
