I went back to Dance Dance Dance, a Hannam-dong sandwich place I really love. I've probably been there over 5 times already, but when I heard the fig menu was out, I rushed over right away 💗

Fifth visit to Dance Dance Dance at Hannam Intersection

Arrived in Hannam-dong. Dance Dance Dance is right at Hannam Intersection.

Dance Dance Dance has such a hip vibe. This is a Hannam-dong sandwich spot I absolutely love. From Hannam-dong itself to the Pangyo Hyundai Department Store pop-up, every time a seasonal menu comes out — red bean, strawberry, whatever — I go, so I think I've had a Dance Dance Dance sandwich over 5 times now haha

What is sold out if you arrive at 6pm?

I went around 6pm and a lot of the breads — scones, baguettes — were already gone. The choco baguette was sold out too 🥲 But thankfully, aside from that, I could still order most of the baguette sandwiches.

Dance Dance Dance isn't just about the sandwiches — the coffee is really good too. They use Visionstroll beans, so it's nutty and delicious. Every time I come here I end up getting it with my sandwich haha

The shop is small but there's a bit of space to eat in — about 4 seats! And there's also seating outside.

The Dance Dance Dance menu: classics and seasonal specials

There are always-available baguette sandwiches like chicken breast, jambon jalapeño, and egg potato, plus seasonal specials — and that's the real hook 🤎 I do want to try the basics like chicken breast or jambon sometime, but the seasonal menu always pulls me in, so I keep ordering that instead lol

Right now it's the fall fig festival 🫪 Fig pistachio, fig matcha — they all looked so good. There wasn't a mugwort option when I visited, but apparently there's now a Chuseok-limited mugwort menu too? I'm so curious how mugwort and fig would pair together ((guess I have to go try that too, huh))

How does the fig pistachio baguette sandwich taste?

After much deliberation, I picked the fig pistachio! I already know how good the matcha is from last time, so this time I agonized forever and went with pistachio instead.

Coffee isn't optional here — it's mandatory.

This fig pistachio baguette sandwich uses 100% pistachio paste, so it's pistachio tofu cream cheese with a really deep, natural pistachio flavor. And get this — the cream cheese here is made with tofu..! That's kind of amazing lol

Does the tofu cream cheese actually taste like tofu?

But honestly, when you eat the cream, you barely taste any tofu. I've heard plain tofu cream cheese does taste a bit like tofu, but with matcha or pistachio, I couldn't taste it at all haha. If you just ate it plain, you'd have no idea it's tofu cream cheese 🫪

When I first peeked inside, I thought the cream looked a little light..? But no, it's seriously packed in there 💨 The more I ate, the more cream I kept finding, and it made me so happy lol. And maybe because it's tofu cream, even eating the cream by itself wasn't heavy at all..? 💚

Pistachio cream, crushed pistachio bits, and sweet fig on top. The portion was pretty big so I meant to only eat half, but before I knew it I'd finished the whole thing lol. No regrets though, it was too good.

I never knew pistachio and fig went together this well,, 🤤 I think I'll be craving this again. My favorite sandwich spot in Hannam-dong, Dance Dance Dance 💚 I'll be back soon for the winter strawberry.
