Lash lift plus point extensions in Beomnaegol, Busan: Almond Eyelashes

Curling my lashes every morning got tedious, and no matter how hard I worked them up, they'd sag by the afternoon — so it had been a while since my last lash lift, and I finally went and got one done haha.

My lashes aren't sparse exactly, but they point in slightly different directions and drop fast even after curling, so I always reach for the lash curler before mascara. This time I decided to just get a lift instead.

This Seomyeon-area lash lift spot, Almond Eyelashes, is right near Beomil Station, so it was easy to find!

I visited by appointment, and the whole place had a clean, relaxed feel — not intimidating at all even though it was my first time there.

Before the treatment, she checked the state of my lashes and asked in detail what kind of curl I wanted. I thought a lash lift just meant curling them up as much as possible, but apparently the right curl varies depending on your eye shape and lash length.

I said I wanted a curl that made my eyes look naturally defined rather than artificially bent, and after the consultation we settled on a lash lift plus point extension!!

How the treatment went

During the treatment I just kept my eyes closed and lay back comfortably, which made it easier than I expected. She worked through my lashes one by one, adjusting the direction, and kept checking in to make sure nothing felt uncomfortable, so I could relax through the whole thing haha.

With lash lifts especially, too strong a curl can actually make your eyes look heavier, but she shaped the curl to fit my eye shape, and once it was finished it looked so much more natural.

Before the treatment my lashes drooped downward, so from the front they didn't have much presence, but after the lift they lifted up firmly and my eyes looked noticeably more defined.

What I liked most was that it didn't look like a forced curler lift — the lashes themselves looked naturally raised!!

With my eyes open, the lashes seemed to wrap gently around my eyes, making them look bigger, and they stayed defined enough even without mascara — really satisfying.

Normally getting ready meant curling my lashes and putting on mascara every morning, but now I feel like I can just brush my lashes through and be done, which will definitely be more convenient haha.

Curling your lashes every day inevitably puts some strain on them, but getting a lift done once seems to cut down morning prep time and make your eyes look much more defined — overall a satisfying experience.
