Why I chose volume magic for frizzy hair

It was time for volume magic straightening again.. Do you know that feeling of wanting to change things up as fall arrives? My hair has been so frizzy lately, and straightening it every morning was taking forever tooㅜㅜ So I considered C-curls... but went with volume magic, which is at least easier to manage!

I had it done at Levia Hair Bucheon Branch, a hair salon in Bucheon. I loved the result, but more than anything, Sora, the salon manager who looked after me, made the whole appointment feel so nice! Her reviews were good to begin with~ so I booked right away!!

The clean, polished interior was the first thing that caught my eye when I walked in. It had an overall white-and-wood look, which gave it a comfortable atmosphere too! The space was roomy, so it never felt stuffy, and there was even a forest view through the windows~ The weather was so nice that day, and getting my hair done while looking out the window felt amazing!

They also prepared cookies and a drink! I had kombucha~ It was my first time seeing a hair salon with kombucha!!!

A tailored consultation starting with my hair condition

First, this was the state of my hair before the appointment. Manager Sora gave me such a thorough consultation and carefully checked my hair, asking about its current damage level and how I normally style it!! Since I am so indecisive, that made it easy for me to choose.

A layered cut followed by volume magic

They started with the cut and then moved on to volume magic straightening. Manager Sora at this Bucheon hair salon was also great at layered cuts. She immediately understood exactly the style I wanted and cut it for me! She also asked how I usually care for my hair and gave me a style that would be easier to handle. The layers looked natural, the ends were neat, and my hair felt so much lighter!

Anyway... a little window-view moment! The weather was truly so nice that I took photos while getting my hair done.

She kept checking on my hair condition throughout and made sure I was comfortable! She was so attentive when applying the solution and using heated tools that I could relax without feeling burdened. Sitting in a salon for a long time can be quietly tiring, but Manager Sora created such a comfortable atmosphere with her bright energy that I lost track of time!

A Bucheon hair salon that knew just how to lift my bangs too! I think I loved how she effortlessly brought out the volume in both the layered cut and the volume magic straightening.

She dried my hair with a Dyson hair dryer too, and the airflow definitely felt gentler, like there was less damage to my hair. Now I want a Dyson hair dryer too...★ They really seem to use only good things.

Natural volume without a flat iron

While drying my hair, she naturally brought out the volume of the layered cut and its layers, creating a pretty silhouette without needing a separate flat iron. Completely 100% satisfied! My getting-ready-for-work time is now 10 minutes shorter!! She also kindly explained how to care for it while drying. Even though I am hopeless with my hands, I will try my best to maintain it!!

This time, I got volume magic straightening and a layered cut from Manager Sora, and it was such a satisfying experience from start to finish!! Her cheerful voice and kind service made me feel at ease, and the personalized consultation was great because she carefully checked my hair condition before starting~ My frizzy hair became smooth and shiny, just like that!!! It was a lovely time: a little mood change for fall and a feeling of taking care of myself for no reason at all.
