Bucheon hair salon for a voluminous vintage bob perm: Levia Hair

I’m famously a bob lover who insists on keeping my hair short. This summer was so hot that I grew it out a little so I could tie it up. But once it reached that awkward length, I couldn’t wear it down(?)—so I tied it up every single day without fail. Now that the heat has finally eased and a cool breeze is blowing, I’m going back to the bob I’ve been patiently waiting for.

Levia Hair Bucheon Branch, which I visited this time, is five minutes from Exit 5 of Bucheon City Hall Station! I found it while looking for a hair salon in Bucheon, checked out the reviews and details, and ultimately chose it!

If you want an appointment before 10:00 a.m., ask by phone or KakaoTalk! ⚠️ You need to get in touch by 10:00 p.m. the day before!!

I arrived early for my appointment and waited for a bit in the spacious, comfortable waiting area! Maybe because I visited on a Saturday afternoon, there were so many customers. That must mean it’s known for doing hair well, right? The sofa was so plush ☁️

There were drinks, snacks, and a hair-service menu, so I had a look around. Paying with a membership gets you discounts, points, and services too!! So lucky 🍀

There were so many seats and the salon was spacious, so I was comfortable throughout the appointment haha. I booked with Director Sora at Levia Hair! I absolutely loved her “perm and color fairy” title 🧚🏻

Turning an awkward length into a vintage bob perm

Before

My hair doesn’t normally look like this,, I had tied it up and then let it down that day, so it looked even more chaotic.. haha

After I showed a few hair styles I liked, she immediately understood the feel I wanted and clearly laid out what service I needed, along with the cost. I could start without a trace of anxiety! We decided on a vintage bob perm that would shorten the length and bring back volume ✨

Before the treatment, they washed my hair in the cozy shampoo room. Why do all salon shampoos smell so good..

I sat in a seat with a lovely view and got to relax while looking outside.

They gave me a cushion to make using my phone easier. It was quite high, so when I rested my arm on it, my phone was right at eye level. Goodbye, tech neck.

There were cute little objects tucked away all around the salon too? They seemed like plants the staff were growing! So cute.

After my cut and while I waited with the perm solution on, they brought me a drink and wet wipes so I wouldn’t get bored. Aren’t the wipes ridiculously cute? 🍀

The perm solution took well, so I went to get shampooed again. It had been so long since I’d seen my hair this silky and straight that I took a photo. It was fascinating to see it fall so smoothly again, hahaha. At the same time, I realized I really shouldn’t get permanent straightening ^^,,

Who is this? No straight hair for me, ever haha.

They wrapped my hair in rods, then I moved seats for heat processing. The view from the new seat was nice too, so I looked outside and dozed off(?) I can’t even describe how comfortable it was.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, my hair became all tightly curled after the heat treatment. It looks super curly now, but these are curls that mostly disappear once the neutralizer is applied, so don’t worry ((warning))

Time for neutralizing. I don’t know why I took it from this angle, but this is my only neutralizing photo,, hahahahahahahahahaha. They even gave me a scalp massage to finish.. this place is heaven 👼🏻🪽 Once the neutralizing was done, I dried my hair and here’s how it looked!

What do you think?! I got a vintage bob perm that looks natural but still has lots of volume :-) I actually visited this Bucheon hair salon because I had plans in Bucheon that day, but I might keep coming back to Bucheon from now on..♡

Thanks to Director Sora’s detailed instructions on caring for my hair, it was easy to dry and style it myself too!

I really loved how the curls naturally swept over when I simply ran my hand through them ♥

Even from the front, the volume is still there, creating such a lovely look :) For hair without volume like mine, this kind of lift is essential!
