Bukchon lunch restaurant with a three-dish order: Low Five Anguk
In short
Low Five Anguk is a pizza and pasta restaurant on Bukchon-ro near Anguk Station Exit 2 in Jongno, Seoul. Over a weekday lunch with two coworkers who work near Anguk Station, the writer ordered corn pizza, truffle cream pasta, lasagna and grapefruit ade, arriving at 11:08am for waiting number 6 and getting a table at 11:30am. The cream sauce inside the corn pizza and the limited-quantity lasagna made the early arrival at Low Five Anguk worth it.

One of my coworker friends near Anguk Station kept telling me to come for lunch sometime~ I could never find the time 🥲 but I finally set a date and went, haha! Apparently it's a place even locals near Anguk Station rave about —
Low Five Anguk
and I finally went, haha.
Apparently the original branch is in Suwon and it's a super famous pizza spot?? And I heard the Anguk branch is just as popular as the original, so I went in with high expectations. 🤎
Where is Low Five Anguk, and what does it look like?

The first thing that caught my eye was the red-brick interior. It felt like a restaurant somewhere in the middle of Europe ❤️

How long was the weekday lunch wait at Low Five Anguk?
The in-person line at Low Five Anguk starts at 11:05am, but we arrived at 11:08am, put our name on CatchTable, and still got waiting number 6, haha. I can't even imagine how popular this place is, lol. FYI, remote CatchTable booking only opens at 11:40am^^ We registered for the wait and wandered around a few hot Bukchon spots nearby, then showed up right at 11:30am, and the staff kindly showed us in. 😄

The interior of Low Five Anguk had lush green branch decorations mixed with brick accents and round lighting fixtures, giving it the feel of a casual European restaurant 🤎 The staff were all young, good-looking, and friendly too, which made it even better (whispering) hehe ❤️

What three people ordered at Low Five Anguk
Honestly, I'd looked up reviews before visiting, and it seemed like ordering the corn pizza at Low Five Anguk, this Anguk Station pizza spot, was pretty much mandatory?? I went in determined to order it no matter what — five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ before even tasting it, haha.
- Corn pizza
- Truffle cream pasta
- Lasagna
So that's the three we ordered. 🤎

There's a self-service corner in the middle of the restaurant where you can grab extras — hot sauce, knee blankets, wet wipes, and more were all set up there 👍❤️

Seeing the wine bottles displayed on one side made me think it'd be lovely to come back in the evening for wine 🍾🍷 Then our food arrived, haha.
Why corn pizza is the Low Five Anguk signature
The corn pizza at Low Five Anguk comes topped with whole corn kernels — it looks impossibly delicious just from the visual, haha.

One bite in, I got this rich, creamy flavor, so I lifted the toppings a bit and found it was packed with cream sauce underneath 😄
That's when it clicked why the corn pizza is the signature dish at Low Five Anguk, this Anguk Station pizza spot. My friends were raving about how good it was too, digging in enthusiastically. 👍👍👍

The savory-sweet-salty corn, the thick and creamy sauce, and the crispy pizza dough all came together perfectly to create the best possible flavor.
How does the truffle cream pasta taste?

The truffle cream pasta was, true to its name, packed full of truffle aroma in a creamy sauce.

The rich, thick cream sauce with mushrooms and the perfectly cooked pasta noodles gave it such a great texture 😆 It paired really well with the corn pizza we also ordered, so I was glad we got both a pizza and a pasta, haha.
Limited-quantity lasagna and grapefruit ade

The lasagna at this Bukchon pizza spot, Low Five Anguk, had layers of sauce and pasta sheets in perfect harmony — it melted smoothly in the mouth. ❤️

The rich tomato sauce blended smoothly with the lasagna 🍅 At Low Five Anguk, this Anguk Station pizza spot, the lasagna is sold in limited quantity — showing up early was so worth it 😆

The grapefruit ade we ordered alongside also paired well with everything else, letting us enjoy the meal deliciously right to the end 😄 Every single dish was so good we cleaned our plates before leaving, haha.
