Yacht-view Chinese in Marine City: spicy octopus rice bowl, Bueokgan
In short
Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch is a Chinese restaurant on Marine City 3-ro in Haeundae, Busan, with a panoramic ocean view of Dongbaekseom. Visiting with a nephew, the writer ordered extra-large poached-egg ganjajang (black bean noodles), beef brisket jjamppong rice, a spicy poached-egg octopus rice bowl and black vinegar tangsuyuk (medium), and the yachts passing by kept the child so absorbed that the meal stayed relaxed. Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch is recommended as a Chinese restaurant that nails both the food and the view.

My nephew was so busy watching the boats that I got to eat my meal in peace✨️ (a big perk of Bueokgan's view 🤣🌿)

Four dishes to order at Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch
1. Poached-egg ganjajang, extra-large (+2,000 won)
Poached-egg ganjajang (black bean noodles) is Bueokgan Chinese's signature dish. When you order it you can choose the large size for an extra ₩2,000.

This is Bueokgan Chinese's signature poached-egg ganjajang! It's sweet and delicious!

True to ganjajang form, the onions still have a nice bite! The noodles come already tossed with the sauce! Really easy to eat! haha

It goes great with the poached egg, and the bits of pork you bite into are the real kicker! Nutty and delicious!!

Halfway through I asked for some chili powder to sprinkle on — it's a nice extra touch✨️
2. Beef brisket jjamppong rice
Beef brisket jjamppong rice comes with a separate bowl of rice. There's cabbage in the broth so it tastes clean and refreshing, and there's quite a lot of beef brisket in it too!

3. Spicy poached-egg octopus rice bowl
The spicy poached-egg octopus rice bowl has tender octopus with a real smoky char flavor. It's genuinely delicious — you have to try it!

4. Black vinegar pork loin tangsuyuk (medium)
The black vinegar tangsuyuk (crispy fried pork, medium size) is crispy and sweet and delicious. They give you tongs and scissors too haha

Getting the sauce served poured on top instead of on the side means they're confident about the crispiness!! And it really is crispy✨️
I asked if there was soy sauce for dipping the tangsuyuk, and they brought out this vinegar-soy sauce with chili powder! (The staff member was really thoughtful and kind!!)
Tangsuyuk really does need that vinegar-chili-soy sauce combo~! Highly recommend✨️
Gwangan Bridge view on the way out
After finishing the meal and leaving Bueokgan Chinese Marine City Branch, you get this view of Gwangan Bridge with yachts on the water~~! Such a pretty view🌿
