Dongnae sushi date with white fish sushi 10P: Moshi Moshi Sushi

I was craving Japanese food so badly today, so I went looking and found Moshi Moshi Sushi, Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch — a sushi spot near Myeongnyun Station. Apparently Moshi Moshi has been loved in Busan for a long time, running directly-operated branches at Busan National University, Gwangbok, and now Dongnae. We picked the Dongnae branch since parking is so convenient!

Finding Moshi Moshi Sushi on the 8th floor dining floor

We drove, so we wanted a Dongnae sushi place with easy parking, and Moshi Moshi Dongnae fit perfectly! After parking comfortably, we headed up to the 8th floor dining hall of Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch — and true to being a well-known spot in the mall, we arrived at a spacious, open, and pleasant lunch place near Myeongnyun Station!

Inside Moshi Moshi Sushi: counter seats, hall tables and room-like corners

Walking into this sushi spot near the Dongnae Lotte Cinema, we found a spacious layout with counter seats, hall tables, and even some semi-private room-like seating, making it work well for family meals in Dongnae too! Since we came for a date, we sat at a hall table, and since we visited right before closing, we got to enjoy the wide, comfortable space with zero wait!

Looking around, there were plenty of high chairs ready for families with babies dining out in Dongnae, and each table had a tablet PC so you could take your time deciding and ordering.

There was a menu board outside the restaurant too, so we got to think it over carefully before visiting this sushi spot near Dongnae Station — we decided on the 2-person Set 1 and the white fish sushi 10P at the entrance before going in!

After ordering at this sushi spot in Dongnae, the components of the 2-person set arrived first — clear soup, vegetable salad, and tofu salad!

Then the star of this Dongnae Set 1 arrived — as befits a set menu, it came as a plate of assorted sushi with salmon, raw shrimp, eel, tuna, and more. Every piece was fresh with great harmony between the rice and fish — really tasty! From the soft salmon to the springy raw shrimp to the sweet eel, it was fun to pick through different flavors instead of sticking to just one.

The rice bowl included in the set arrived! It came out still sizzling, packed with flying fish roe, and the pop of the roe with each bite gave a great texture!

Choosing udon as the noodle course

A set menu can't skip the soup dish! We got to choose the noodle course, and we went with warm udon! The chewy noodles came with a clean but savory broth that really hit the spot!

The white fish sushi 10P we ordered as a side arrived! It came generously piled on one plate, and I loved how clean and light the flavor of the white fish came through. The three kinds of tempura that came with it were great too — crispy on the outside, moist inside, like freshly fried, and paired well with the Japanese food. The side dish menu came served meal-set style on a tray with sushi, salad, soup, and tempura together, and with a spread that good, I think it'd also make a great solo dining spot at the Dongnae Lotte Department Store or in Dongnae in general!
