Bucheon brow tattoo studio that thinned my thick brows: From Nana
In short
Bucheon Sang-dong From Nana Lip & Eyebrow Tattoo is a semi-permanent eyebrow and lip studio a two-minute walk from Exit 3 of Sang-dong Station in Bucheon, Gyeonggi. On the artist's advice, the writer's thick, asymmetrical brows were made thinner with only the tails extended slightly, using the hair-stroke technique; the consultation took 20 minutes and the whole visit about 3 hours. The finished brows looked like real brow hairs, close enough that From Nana's client no longer draws her eyebrows in the morning.

Looking around, almost everyone I know has had semi-permanent eyebrows done, but I prefer a very natural look, so even though mine are asymmetrical and thin out at the tail, I held out for a long time. Then recently I saw a friend who'd gotten the hair-stroke technique done, and it looked so effortlessly pretty that I finally worked up the courage to try it!! The result was a total success, so let me confidently introduce it to you^^

Where From Nana eyebrow tattoo studio is in Bucheon, and its hours
From Nana is located at 31-7 Sohyang-ro 37beon-gil, Wonmi-gu, Bucheon, Gyeonggi, South Korea, just a 2-minute walk from Exit 3 of Sang-dong Station, so it's very convenient by public transit, and underground parking is also available. It's open daily from 10:00 to 22:00, by appointment only. Head up to the 6th floor and look for Room 643.

Walking in, the first thing you see is a clean white-toned desk with fresh potted plants, and the director greets you with a bright smile.

The interior is tidy and pleasantly arranged.

The consultation: how thick brows were redrawn thinner
At From Nana, the consultation started right away at a table in the middle of the room with the director.

There are generally three categories of eyebrow design, and since my face shape is oval, she said basically any of them would suit me. So I showed her a photo I'd brought and asked for that style.

The technique I was getting today at From Nana in Bucheon was hair-stroke: a precise digital machine draws in fine lines one by one, just like real eyebrow texture. Embo (embroidery-style) tattooing inevitably irritates the skin more, so I chose hair-stroke instead, which minimizes irritation and maximizes a natural look with barely any trace left behind. Decision made!!

She looked at my eyebrows and spent over 20 minutes working out the shape with me — really thorough. Something I learned that day: apparently my brows were so thick they looked like 'a man's eyebrows.' And honestly, that's after I've already trimmed them a lot^^
Since my brows thin out at the tail, I'd previously just extended them a bit longer there, but she said making the whole brow thinner overall would look more polished and feminine, so we talked about that for a while. In the end, I decided to trust the expert and go with the director's suggestion!!

Inside the treatment room and the numbing cream wait
After the consultation, I was shown straight into the treatment room.

The room had a well-arranged bed and various tools neatly laid out,

and a large mirror set up so I could check and adjust my eyebrows partway through the procedure.

Numbing cream on for 10 minutes. Looking at this, my eyebrows look like a sturdy Mongolian general's^^

What the three-hour hair-stroke session was like
Sitting in front of the mirror, the actual design work began. First she slightly adjusted the thickness, and just that alone already looked softer. Keeping the rest of my brow line as is, she drew in a design with a slightly longer tail, matching both sides really carefully for symmetry.

Done!! Wow... the hair-stroke technique is no joke. It takes almost three hours because of the enormous care put into both the consultation and the procedure itself. The director kept checking the mirror with me and stayed fully focused the whole time.

My messy, unruly brows were completely cleaned up and arranged, strand by strand, to look just like my natural brow texture. The director's eye for suggesting an alternative to the eyebrow shape I'd had my whole life turned out to be spot on^^ So clean!!

What's in the aftercare kit, and the retouch one month later
From Nana in Bucheon also gave me a nice little kit, including an eyebrow razor and cream. After about three hours I was starving, so I dug into the snack right away^^ Such a thoughtful touch!! And if any of the color fades, no need to worry — a retouch is available after one month^^

Before and after: no more drawing brows in the morning
Can you see the difference? The curve matches the same thickness and density as my own brows, looking really natural with a nice sense of dimension. Since there's no skin incision, there's almost no pain, and the peeling is barely noticeable, so you can go straight back to daily life — a completely perfect advantage!!

The hair-stroke technique at From Nana eyebrow tattoo in Bucheon can express soft, natural real brow texture and apparently works for all skin types. Without any artificial look, skin damage, or scarring worries, it looks just like my own eyebrows, so now I get to do my makeup comfortably on busy mornings without drawing in my brows at all.

I highly recommend getting a comfortable, personalized consultation at From Nana in Sang-dong, where they consider your face shape, skin tone, and overall image to find a naturally suited style^^
