Anniversary date photo studio in Jeonpo, Busan: Jeonpo Times

In short

Movie Photo Book Jeonpo Times (움직이는사진책 전포타임스) is a 24-hour unmanned self-photo studio near Jeonpo Café Street in Busanjin, Busan. For an anniversary date, the writer shot newspaper-frame photos twice (₩14,000) and made two flip books (₩16,000), walking in without a reservation and finishing everything from shooting to flip book making in one visit. Movie Photo Book Jeonpo Times made a date that lasts far longer in memory than just hopping between cafés.

Hi, this is Chaenjjang. I usually hang around Jeonpo Café Street a lot, but this time, since it was our anniversary, I wanted to leave a more special memory, so I visited "Movie Photo Book" Jeonpo Times. I don't normally take a lot of photos, but I always make sure to capture special days ^^ I've done plenty of Life Four Cuts before, and here you can record memories in a bit of a different way, so I looked it up and went. Let me introduce it right away.

Where is Movie Photo Book Jeonpo Times and when is it open?

  • Location: 52 Seojeon-ro 68beon-gil, Busanjin-gu, Busan, South Korea
  • Hours: Open 24 hours, no holidays

The shop is close to Jeonpo Café Street, so it's easy to get to, and there are lots of pretty cafés and good restaurants nearby, so it's perfect for a full-day course. So if you're looking for things to do on a date in Jeonpo, I'd recommend adding an experience like this rather than just stopping by cafés!!!

Right in front of the store entrance, I noticed it caught us walking by? So I took a quick photo with my phone first haha

It comes out with this newspaper feel haha, so cute, us^^

Newspaper-style printed photo

So pretty hahaha, there's also a plastic sleeve next to it, so you just grab one to take it home in

How much are the newspaper photos at Jeonpo Times?

The newspaper photo price at Jeonpo Times is ₩7,000 for 2 prints! You can pick from various frames, and choose black-and-white or color! We took it twice for ₩14,000, so 4 prints total (2 of the same photo) ^^ Just like Life Four Cuts, photos and videos can be downloaded!

The inside of the store has this kind of feel, and there are lots of newspaper-style photos from people who've taken them all over the place!

You can rent headbands, props, and even outfits too, so keep that in mind~~~~!!

Free photo shooting space

This is a spot where you can shoot for free, printed on paper haha There's a lot to enjoy here in different ways!

Flip book experience booth

Jeonpo Times flip books: ₩8,000 per book

Next up, the flip book experience~~!! You film a short video, and it prints that scene as a series of photos made into a little book — flip through the pages fast and it plays back like moving video!

Read the shooting guide carefully! Each flip book is ₩8,000. We did two books, so ₩16,000! The best part was being able to use it freely without a reservation!!!

Just keep moving while shooting haha You move this way and that and pick a background too. Shooting wasn't hard either. You don't have to overthink poses too much — moving naturally was actually more comfortable, and it seemed really good for capturing playful moments with a friend or natural couple moments. It seems like it'd be fun to visit with family too, and even shooting solo for a profile-style photo would give a pretty satisfying result.

Picked out the cover photo too haha You can download all of this later too haha

Cover photo and flip book print sheets
Printed photos for two flip books

One cover photo and the flip book photos behind it~~we got 2 books!!! Since it runs unmanned 24 hours, even people who have trouble matching schedules can visit without worry, and since you get the results right after shooting, the wait isn't long. The space is also set up privately, so I liked that you don't have to worry much about other people's eyes.

Haha so cute hahaha I fumbled a bit since it was my first time, but I made it well haha

Just attach the ring and decorate!

Is Jeonpo Times worth it for an anniversary date?

Ta-da~! The finished product. These days there are similar photo booths pretty much everywhere you go, but the biggest advantage here is being able to experience both a moving photo book and a newspaper photo booth in one place. It doesn't just leave you one photo — it feels like it turns the memory itself into a piece of content, so satisfaction was good good. If you're looking for an unusual experience on Jeonpo Café Street, I think it's worth a visit at least once. I'd especially recommend it to people looking for things to do in Jeonpo with a photo studio, or who want to leave behind something different. It's a date that sticks in your memory way longer than one that just ends with drinking coffee at a café haha
