A spacious restaurant on Bupyeong Market Five-way Intersection’s seafood-stew street
Haemulmyeongga Donghae Haemultang, with its eye-catching colorful neon-sign exterior, is 677 m from Exit 7 of Bupyeong Station‼️

If you’re looking for a good restaurant on Bupyeong Market Five-way Intersection’s seafood-stew street, pay attention! ⭐ This place has already been featured on lots of shows, and its TV credentials alone make it feel like a can’t-miss Bupyeong seafood-stew spot~!

There was even valet service to help with parking, so I could visit comfortably without worrying about it. 🚘 The interior was really spacious and pleasant. With generous space between tables and plenty of seats, it is perfect for a Bupyeong work dinner or group gathering! 😊 ⭐Naver reservations are available for parties of 6 or more⭐

Even though I visited late, customers kept coming in nonstop. The age range was so diverse that I became convinced it was a real local favorite—and my expectations rose! 🎉 There is a neatly maintained open kitchen and a restroom inside, too, which made it convenient.

The first floor was already huge, but there was a second-floor space as well! I recommend it for a Bupyeong family meal or date, too! Join the Naver review event and receive complimentary alcohol~! A drink with seafood is essential, right~^0^

Aprons and high chairs are available!

A coffee vending machine, toothpicks, and even dental floss were thoughtfully set out for freshening up after the meal.

Small crab stew and neatly served side dishes
There were plenty of seafood dishes to choose from according to your taste, including seafood braise, seafood stew, monkfish braise, monkfish stew, steamed crab, crab stew, and steamed live octopus. 😊
- Crab stew (small) ₩55,000
- Steamed rice ₩1,000
- Soju ₩5,000
- Beer ₩5,000

Each banchan (Korean side dish)—dongchimi (radish water kimchi), acorn jelly, corn salad, stir-fried dried shrimp, and cucumber pickles—was neatly served and delicious. It really had the aura of a good restaurant. 🤤

Flavorful soy sauce-marinated shrimp and golden pan-fried jeon (Korean savory pancake) also came as complimentary side dishes,

and with such excellent side dishes plus delicious crab stew, how could I skip a drink? The drinks went down so easily~~^0^

Meaty crab and an increasingly deep broth
📌Crab stew (small) ₩55,000. Crab stew was exactly what I had been craving lately! 🦀 Even though it was the small size, the pot was overflowing with fresh, large crabs, mideodeok (sea squirts), and all sorts of vegetables.

The crabs were large and packed with meat, and the vegetables and seafood were added with no holding back, so the two of us enjoyed a seriously filling meal!🐷🐽 It felt like great value, too!

Crab can be a hassle to prepare and eat, but the staff took care of all the cutting for us, so we could eat comfortably~!😇

They snipped everything into easy-to-eat pieces, and I couldn’t help admiring the crab meat and rich tomalley packed inside. 🤤 Once the prep was done, the seasoning soaked in and it bubbled away—such an absolute work of art..!!🔥
The longer it simmered, the more the crab’s savoriness blended with the refreshing vegetable broth, making the soup deeper and cleaner-tasting. I officially approve this Bupyeong crab stew spot‼️

The crab was packed full of meat,,🦀 Its natural sweetness and umami exploded, while the parts with tomalley were rich and soft. The yield was so good that I was completely satisfied!🧡

Not just the body—even every joint of the legs was filled solidly with meat. Usually crab legs have little meat or are too bothersome to pick clean, so I often leave them behind, but here, just a tiny bite into the shell released plump, firm meat right out‼️

Besides the crab, there was no skimping on vegetables such as kabocha squash, potato, radish, and bean sprouts. Every spoonful of the clean yet hearty broth made me sigh in admiration.

I love mideodeok..🤍 It was pleasantly spicy without being harsh, and it felt like it cleared me right out—perfect as drinking food while somehow feeling like a hangover cure at the same time~!

Put a piece of beautifully picked, plump crab meat over rice and soak it with a little broth, and it is a true rice thief! 🍚

The broth, infused properly with crab flavor, was so savory and delicious that I really wanted to add ramen noodles. But after such a generous amount of crab, vegetables, and rice, I was far too full—sadly, I’ll have to save the noodles for next timeㅠㅠ🍜 When you’re craving delicious Bupyeong crab stew or seafood stew, I recommend Haemulmyeongga Donghae Haemultang! A perfect Bupyeong favorite with a spacious dining room and valet parking, too!😊
