Tartar chicken burger and sweet potato fries at BAS Burger, Euljiro

Hey guys~~ the weather's been so nice lately that I went to Euljiro after work for the first time in a while!! The Euljiro3-ga area is mostly bars and company dinner spots, but hidden in one of those alleys is a real gem,,,, great taste and great vibe, BAS Burger Euljiro Branch!!

BAS Burger Euljiro Branch is on the basement floor of Sier Soho Hotel, 11 Euljiro12-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul. It's open 11:00–20:30, last order at 20:00.

You might have trouble finding it at first! The sign is set pretty high up haha. But the neon sign is flashy so it catches your eye! Head down to the basement

From group tables to solo seats — what's the vibe like?

Inside BAS Burger Euljiro Branch there's a group table area too, so groups of 15+ can sit comfortably! If you're looking for a group dining spot around Euljiro3-ga, BAS Burger Euljiro Branch is a good pick

Besides group seating, there's plenty of solo seats and 4-person tables too. The place is pretty spacious so it wasn't seriously crowded or chaotic

Free potato chips for dine-in guests — I refilled four times

And attention!!! What I liked most was these potato chips ㅠㅠ apparently it's a service for dine-in guests!! Not your regular convenience store chips — thicker, crispier, warm, totally upscale-feeling chips!! I only grabbed a little at first without expecting much, but we ended up refilling around 4 times.. lol

There were quite a few foreign visitors too, and they looked confused about whether it was free, so I felt bad and told them it's free chips, then got embarrassed and quickly left lol. They're too good to skip.. I couldn't not tell them! And since they're in a warmer, they're genuinely warm and taste freshly fried ㅠㅠ Sprinkling pepper on them gives a whole different flavor too.. If you love BAS Burger, delivery is great, but try eating at BAS Burger Euljiro Branch — these chips are seriously so good..

Ordering via kiosk, and drinks all the way to beer

BAS Burger Euljiro Branch has a kiosk at every table, but having a physical menu too makes things easier! There's also a nice variety of drinks — soda, shakes, and beer — so picking is fun haha. Especially if you love beer, ordering beer and a burger here with those chips sounds like it could go on forever..?

And they cook in this open kitchen area!! You don't see that much these days, so it felt novel and somehow more trustworthy haha

What we ordered and choosing sauces

Here's how the menu came out! It feels way nicer than the usual plastic burger tray, doesn't it?? After the chip appetizer, everything looked good~~ Here's what we ordered:

• ✅ BAS Chicken Burger, Cola
• ✅ Mozza Cheese Bar

And what surprised me was the sauce selection!! There were so many kinds — among the free sauces, everything else was familiar but the pollack roe mayo was new to me lol. We ended up going with the familiar ranch though..! And since I love spicy food, I was curious about the shishito pepper red mayo dip too!

Double BAS Burger

First, the Double BAS Burger! Juicy patties with two slices of cheese give it huge flavor!! With lettuce, raw onion, and tomato inside, even with two patties and two cheese slices it never felt greasy — it tasted fresh instead. And the bun was especially delicious! It had a fragrant buttery taste and was so soft and chewy it made everything taste even better

BAS Chicken Burger, tatar flavor

The BAS Chicken Burger came in two flavors:

• ✅ Tatar — chicken patty, tatar sauce, pickle slices, lettuce
• ✅ Shishito pepper — chicken patty, red mayo, shishito pepper, lettuce

I wanted to try the basic one first so I went with tatar! But I actually love peppers in general — cheongyang chili, shishito, you name it — so next time I want to try the shishito version haha. At first I figured the beef patty burger would obviously be tastier for a handmade burger place, but my boyfriend who came with me actually said this chicken burger was better! I liked both haha. Even with the tatar flavor, the patty had a slightly spicy kick, which I loved! That's probably why the BAS Chicken Burger never felt greasy either, all the way through

Why I recommend the sweet potato fries as your side

Sweet potato fries that you can't find just anywhere ㅠㅠ I like regular fries too, but I really love sweet potato fries!! Some places don't do them well, but here they were sweet, crispy, and delicious haha. And here's why I recommend sweet potato fries as your side at BAS Burger Euljiro Branch!! Because there are already free potato chips! So ordering sweet potato fries instead of regular fries lets you enjoy a wider variety of flavors!

Mozza Cheese Bar

And finally, the Mozza Cheese Bar.. I've been seeing this a lot on Instagram and TikTok lately! I was so curious, and it happened to be on the menu at BAS Burger, so I ordered it haha. It came out freshly fried, hot, and as you can see the cheese stretches out so much!! Fried mozzarella cheese is obviously going to taste good, and it was fun to watch too haha

Today's post was about BAS Burger Euljiro Branch! If you're eating around Euljiro3-ga, I definitely recommend this place haha. The atmosphere was surprisingly calm for how crowded Euljiro gets, and above all — the potato chips I've already mentioned way too many times.... hahahaha, I ate so many I started feeling self-conscious lol. They're seriously so good!! Crispy, warm,, and with a sprinkle of pepper, a whole different flavor.... The burgers themselves are amazing needless to say, and the sides — sweet potato fries, mozza cheese bar — were great too. BAS Burger Euljiro Branch is also a great pick if you want a quiet beer!
