Euljiro3-ga burger restaurant: BAS Burger fried egg bacon cheeseburger
In short
BAS Burger Euljiro Branch is a handmade burger restaurant on the basement floor of See Also Hotel near Euljiro3-ga in Jung-gu, Seoul. Two people ordered the double bacon cheeseburger with fried egg set, the wasabi mayo shrimp burger, crunchy chicken 2P and a mozza cheese bar, choosing sriracha mayo as the chicken sauce. BAS Burger Euljiro Branch stays open 11:00–20:30 even through the Chuseok holiday, and the juicy patties and sides make it worth returning to as a regular.

Today I came back to a BAS Burger location — I used to go all the time when I worked in Gwanghwamun, and I noticed they have a branch in Euljiro too haha. We used to order it for the whole office in Gwanghwamun, and turns out the Euljiro branch also does group orders!! But today it's just the two of us, so here's my honest review.
Where is BAS Burger Euljiro Branch, and is it open during Chuseok?
BAS Burger Euljiro Branch is on the basement floor of See Also Hotel at 11 Euljiro12-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul. It's open daily from 11:00 to 20:30, with last order at 20:00.

⏰ Hours Daily 11:00 - 20:30 (last order 20:00) Thu (9/24) Chuseok holiday 11:00 - 20:30 Fri (9/25) Chuseok 11:00 - 20:30 Sat (9/26) Chuseok holiday 11:00 - 20:30
A restaurant that doesn't close for Chuseok is truly a blessing. Even when you want to eat out during Chuseok, there's often nowhere open 😇 But this place stays open through the whole holiday, so keep that in mind haha.

True to Hip-jiro's reputation, the Euljiro branch has a super hip feel right from the entrance 😎
BAS Burger Euljiro Branch menu and group orders

Gwanghwamun and Euljiro have a lot of offices around them, so group orders are common — and since this place handles group orders too, it seems like a great option for staff lunches sometimes.

BAS Burger's burgers are great, but the sides are just as good — crunchy chicken, the currently trending mozza cheese bar, onion rings, and more. These days the sides feel just as important as the main menu.

They also sell a set combining just the popular sides, so if you're coming as a pair, ordering one burger plus a side set seems like a great idea.
The double bacon cheeseburger with fried egg set, shared by two
What we ordered at BAS Burger Euljiro Branch that day was the double bacon cheese burger + fried egg set, wasabi mayo shrimp burger, crunchy chicken 2P, and one mozza cheese bar. As a pair, it was two burgers plus two side dishes.

Double patty AND a fried egg on top!!! Since I'd just come from working out, having that fried egg thrown in for extra protein made me really happy 😍

With patty, egg, and bacon stacked together I thought it might feel a bit dry, but handmade burgers really are different. I eat McDonald's Double Quarter Pounder a lot too, but BAS Burger's beef was packed with juice — no dryness the whole way through, and I honestly didn't take a sip of cola until I'd finished the whole burger.

Wasabi mayo shrimp burger: where the kick comes from
This is the wasabi shrimp mayo burger I used to order all the time.

As you can see, it's made up of shrimp, onion rings, tomato, onion, and lettuce — no particularly unusual ingredients. But the wasabi mayo is an absolutely insane kick. It cuts right through the greasiness of the burger while letting the plumpness of the shrimp and the savory crunch of the batter come through together — new and delicious. 👍

Crunchy chicken 2P with sriracha mayo
This is the crunchy chicken we ordered as a side — it's fried extra crisp rather than juicy and soft. If you're someone who prefers a crispier, crunchier skin texture over more tender meat, this is a great order!!

You can choose between sriracha mayo and ranch for the sauce — I strongly recommend sriracha mayo! I haven't even tried the ranch, but I feel like sriracha would win regardless. It's just spicy and sweet enough, and pairs perfectly with fried food. So freaking good 🤤🤤 Also, since I decided to try something new today and ordered the crunchy chicken, I'll add that their buffalo wings are also a strong recommend!!!

Mozza cheese bar: how far does the cheese pull?
The mozza cheese bar that's super hot on Instagram right now.

The obligatory cheese pull, of course~

Cheeeeeeeese aaaaaaaaaaaaah

See how crispy the outer coating is and how the cheese is streaming out? Super crunchy on the outside, loaded with cheese for a rich, savory finish — amazing. 👍👍 If it weren't for the calories I could probably order like 10 of these, but that's the sad part. Why does the delicious stuff always pile on the weight 😭
Is BAS Burger Euljiro Branch worth a return visit?
BAS Burger is already a regular spot for me, so it's an easy pick as a must-try restaurant!! I'd recommend everyone give it a try at least once!
