The interior of BAS Burger Euljiro Branch also has a hip feel that matched the food well. With the high tables and soft lighting, the overall mood was pretty great. Watching around while I ate, I noticed quite a few group orders too — group orders are possible, so keep that in mind 😀

It's not too dark or heavy, so it's a comfortable atmosphere to sit and eat a burger 🙂 There's a table that can seat up to 8, so it'd be great for friends or group gatherings too. They have beer, so it's also good for a casual burger-and-beer combo 🎵

You just help yourself to the fries from this really big~~ container near the entrance.

They give you potato chips for free, and even self-serve style...? If you run out while eating, you can just go grab more, which was so nice haha. I had mine with cola that day, but if you're drinking beer, it's basically one more free side dish 👍🏻

Mixing and matching the 7 free sauces

The 7 sauces are free too~! You can dip the chips in them, or switch things up while eating the burger, which was kind of fun haha

Even the same chips taste different depending on which sauce you pair them with, and switching sauces while eating the burger made it feel like enjoying several different flavors from one menu item!

What I ordered was the most basic menu, the BAS Burger! The bun was so, so soft and clean-tasting, the fresh vegetables and tomato flavor came through nicely, and the patty was just the right thickness, pairing really well with the vegetables.

These days a lot of handmade burger places have very strong patty or sauce flavors, but BAS Burger felt a bit cleaner 😋 So it almost had that healthy sandwich feel added to it too?

Personally, I prefer this kind of light style where you can taste the ingredients themselves rather than a heavy, overloaded burger, so I really enjoyed it.

The Mushroom Burger comes with a whole mushroom

My husband ordered the Mushroom Burger. If my style is clean and light, his is the overloaded, aggressive (?) style haha. This was definitely a heavier feel than the BAS Burger I had!

That's probably because a whole large mushroom is fried and packed in +_+ Since the mushroom isn't chopped up but left whole, you really get the mushroom's distinctive flavor along with a chewy texture. Highly recommend this one if you love mushrooms!!

Cheese bacon fries and coleslaw as sides

The cheese bacon fries we ordered as a side combine thick cheese sauce with bacon — do I even need to say more? 😂

With salty bacon plus cheese sauce, it's hard for this combo to taste bad.

That said, eating this kind of dish continuously can get a little greasy, but the coleslaw did its job perfectly. Having something fresh and crunchy in between kept my palate clean, so I could enjoy the cheese bacon fries all the way to the end ✌🏻
