₩1,890 a plate, and lots of sushi varieties with pretty thick fish on top too. I went to Special Sushi Osan Branch. At first the ₩1,890-per-plate price was what caught my eye, but after eating there, what stuck with me more was how many kinds of sushi there were and how thick the fish was cut.

I'd grab anything that looked good off the rail right away, and order whatever wasn't showing up on the rail through the kiosk. Eating this way was convenient — I still got the fun of browsing the rail and picking things one by one, but I didn't have to wait several rounds for the dish I actually wanted.

Honestly, given the price, this was what I was most curious about. "At ₩1,890 a plate, won't the fish be too thin or too small?" But once I actually ate it, the fish on the sushi was quite thick.

It wasn't a thin sliver of fish barely resting on the rice — I could actually feel the texture of the fish with each bite. I prefer sushi with a thick cut of fish over ones where you mostly end up tasting rice, so this part worked for me.
