In short
Bomseol Main Branch is a Korean set-meal (hanjeongsik) restaurant on Oesammi-ro in Osan, Gyeonggi, built for family dining with a private banquet hall on the 2nd floor and individual rooms on the 3rd. The signature Bomseol Rice Table (18,000 won) arrives as one spread with stone-pot rice, cheonggukjang (fermented soybean stew), 8 side dishes, stir-fried pork, and braised pollock. With a huge parking lot that fits over 100 cars and tour buses, plus private rooms for get-togethers, a standalone banquet hall, and seating built for group sizes of every kind, Bomseol Main Branch has become one of the go-to family restaurants in the Dongtan area for Korean set meals :) It's a place with generous, delicious spreads — perfect for taking your parents or grandparents out to eat!!
Location and hours
Go straight from Humansia intersection toward Starbucks, and it's on your right, right in front of the big Gold Hegel café haha. Since Gold Hegel is the former Hong Jong-heun Bakery main branch, it's a great combo — eat at Bomseol, then head over for bread afterward!

How easy is parking?
There's a spacious lot right in front of the restaurant that's easy to pull into, which made it convenient for visiting with a group who came by car.

Parking was self-registered, and you get 2 hours free! Apparently you can also register your parking again when you visit Gold Hegel café after your meal haha.
Exterior

The building was actually two connected wings, main and annex, forming a large 3-story Korean restaurant that's a well-known name in Dongtan-area dining.
1st floor general seating, 2nd floor banquet hall, 3rd floor private rooms

This is a hanjeongsik restaurant built for birthdays, meet-the-parents dinners, first birthday parties (doljanchi), group gatherings, and company dinners. The 1st floor is for regular walk-in guests, the 2nd floor houses a standalone banquet hall, and the 3rd floor has private rooms.
There's an elevator in the building, so guests with mobility issues or elderly visitors can comfortably reach the banquet hall or private rooms.

First, the 3rd floor has private rooms sized according to headcount, making it suitable for business meetings or meet-the-parents occasions.
The 2nd floor is a large standalone banquet hall built for group gatherings, holding up to around 50 people, and even comes with equipment support for small-to-mid-size seminars! When I visited, a banquet had just ended, so please note the photos show the space a bit messy at the time haha.
Even without a group gathering or business meal in mind, the 1st floor has plenty of tables and a cozy, tidy atmosphere, making it perfect for a family meal out too!
You could also buy things like popped corn snacks, barley taffy, sesame oil, yakgwa (honey cookies), monaka, dried yellow croaker, and yeolmu kimchi (young radish kimchi) on the way out!
Menu and prices

I ordered Bomseol's signature dish, the Bomseol Rice Table — a full spread with main items like salad, japchae (glass noodle stir-fry), and fritters, plus carefully prepared healthy side dishes made fresh every morning, warm stone-pot rice, savory cheonggukjang stew, and mains of stir-fried pork and braised pollock.
- Bomseol Rice Table 18,000 won x2
- Chungha (rice wine) 6,000 won
Unlimited yeolmu barley bibimbap corner

While waiting for the Bomseol Rice Table, I'd recommend making yourself a bowl at the unlimited yeolmu barley bibimbap corner haha.

Mixing in radish salad, bracken fern, bean sprouts, sesame oil, and gochujang (red chili paste) made a tasty little bowl to cleanse your palate before the main food arrives.
The Bomseol Rice Table spread

The Bomseol Rice Table came all at once with cheonggukjang stew, 8 side dishes, salad, japchae, fritters, stir-fried pork, and braised pollock.

The rice came in a stone pot, and it was so delicious — sticky and chewy in texture haha!

The highlight of the stone-pot rice was the scorched rice tea (nurungji sungnyung) made afterward — even better when eaten alongside the leftover side dishes and mains!

The cheonggukjang stew wasn't overly thick and didn't have a strong smell, so it seemed like a good starting point for people who aren't used to cheonggukjang — especially kids — haha.

There were 8 side dishes total, including lotus root, seasoned doraji (bellflower root), seasoned squash, and yeolmu kimchi — they were tasty enough to finish a whole bowl of rice with just the sides.

Stir-fried pork, fritters, braised pollock
The stir-fried pork wasn't heavy on the smoky char, just mildly seasoned and easy to eat with rice~
The fritters were squid and carrot, which was an unusual but tasty combo!
The tastiest main was the braised pollock! The spicy-sweet sauce made rice go down easily, and honestly it tasted better than what you'd get from a dedicated pollock restaurant. It's the kind of dish worth ordering extra of :)

Wrap-up
Overall, the food was mildly seasoned, the interior was spacious, and the seating was comfortable, making this a great Korean restaurant to visit with young kids or elderly family members. That was my review of the Bomseol Rice Table at Bomseol Main Branch, a family dining spot known as a Dongtan-area favorite for Korean set meals~!
