I was craving pizza in Yeonnam-dong, so I looked around and ended up at Sunny's Pizza Market. They use handmade sauces and natural cheese, and even sous-vide their own jambon. What really got me was the price — it was better than I expected — and eating pizza and cheese oven pasta fresh out of the kitchen just proved that pizza really is best eaten right away, haha.
So here's my record of properly enjoying a half-and-half pizza with added cheese crust at Sunny's Pizza Market, a pizza spot in Yeonnam-dong~
Where is Sunny's Pizza Market in Yeonnam-dong, and how do you find it?
Sunny's Pizza Market is at 249 Donggyo-ro, 2nd floor, Mapo-gu, Seoul. They offer takeout and delivery, and are set up for groups with wifi and a baby chair.
It wasn't hard to find from the main street in Yeonnam-dong. The restaurant's sign stands out well on the building, so once you get close it's easy to spot. If you're looking for this pizza restaurant near Hongdae, it's also a great stop while wandering around Yeonnam-dong.

The restaurant is on the 2nd floor of the building. Once you find the entrance, you go straight up the stairs to the restaurant. It's a good spot for a date too, since after eating you can stroll around Yeonnam-dong or head toward Hongdae.

Inside Sunny's Pizza Market: tables for two to four, and kids welcome
Stepping inside Sunny's Pizza Market, the overall vibe was clean and tidy. There are various table sizes from 2-seat to 4-seat, so it works well for two people or for families and friends visiting together. A baby chair is also available, so it's a good option for visiting with kids too.

We visited a bit early, so at first we ate fairly leisurely, but by the time we were leaving, two more parties had come in one after another. According to a sign inside, the restaurant has been selected by the Blue Ribbon Survey and Red Ribbon three years in a row from 2024 to 2026, and has also made a Coca-Cola-selected list of good restaurants for three years straight. There's probably a reason people keep coming back to this pizza spot in Yeonnam-dong.

Half-and-half pizza prices at Sunny's: 22,900 won for R, 27,300 won for L
You can order comfortably right from the table. Sunny's Pizza Market lets you order half-and-half pizzas, priced at R ₩22,900 / L ₩27,300.
- R half-and-half pizza ₩22,900
- L half-and-half pizza ₩27,300
The price was better than I expected. In areas like Yeonnam-dong or Hongdae, a whole pizza can run pretty expensive, so being able to choose two flavors in one half-and-half pizza at this price didn't feel like much of a burden. They also run a review event, so check that out when you visit.

Pickles, parmesan and sauces at the self-serve corner
Pickles and various sauces are available at a self-serve corner, so you can grab as much as you need. I tend to eat a lot of pickles with pizza, so not having to ask for more every time was surprisingly convenient, haha. Being able to add parmesan cheese or sauces to your taste was nice too.

Cheese oven pasta at Sunny's Pizza Market: cheese like a waterfall
The cheese oven pasta came out first! Even the bowl itself was big, so it was clear right away that the portion was generous. It had just been cooked, so it was piping hot all over. Pasta really is best eaten fresh out of the oven like this, haha.

When I lifted it with my fork, the cheese stretched really long. There was no shortage of cheese, and the sauce and other ingredients were generous too, so even a few bites were pretty filling. Delivery or takeout would be fine, but personally I'd recommend eating this in the restaurant to properly enjoy the cheese-stretching visual.

The cheese really stretched like a waterfall, lol. Rolling it up while it was hot let the nutty cheese flavor and sauce come through together — pure happiness. Even before the pizza arrived, the oven pasta had already gotten my appetite going.

Pepperoni and combination half-and-half pizza with cheese crust added
And then the pizza we'd been waiting for arrived. We ordered an R-size half-and-half, choosing pepperoni, combination, and an added cheese crust.
- Pepperoni
- Combination
- Added cheese crust
I think a pizza's whole flavor lives or dies by the dough, and this one looked delicious from the crust the moment it arrived. Sunny's Pizza Market says they use handmade sauces, natural cheese, and fresh ingredients like Dole pineapple. Their jambon menu even uses jambon they sous-vide themselves, so it really felt like they put a lot of care into ingredients.

I picked up a slice and the cheese stretched forever. Boxed-up pizza tastes good too, but nothing beats the cheese-stretch you get lifting a slice straight off a freshly baked pizza, lol. If you're eating at this pizza spot near Hongdae, try to eat it warm right at the restaurant if you can.

When I moved a slice onto my plate, the toppings were more generous than I expected. The pepperoni was salty and paired well with the cheese, and the combination had so many toppings packed in that even one slice felt full-flavored. And the cheese crust! Cheese all the way to the edge meant it wasn't just plain dough at the end — it stayed delicious to the last bite. If you like cheese, I think adding the cheese crust is basically a must, haha.

To my taste, I piled on plenty of parmesan cheese and dipped it in garlic dipping sauce. Salty pepperoni, nutty cheese, and sweet garlic dipping sauce together — this combo is hard to mess up, haha. The dough was tasty and the cheese and toppings were generous, so I kept reaching for slice after slice.

What should you order at Sunny's Pizza Market in Yeonnam-dong?
Eating here reminded me again that pizza really is best fresh out of the restaurant kitchen. The cheese oven pasta's cheese stretched like a waterfall while warm, and the pizza's dough and cheese texture were both at their best straight out of the oven.
If you're wondering what to order at this pizza spot in Yeonnam-dong, I'd recommend the half-and-half pizza with added cheese crust! If you're visiting this pizza restaurant near Hongdae and want pizza and pasta together, order the cheese oven pasta alongside it too. The prices were reasonable and the portions generous, so it's great for sharing with a group.
Next time I want to try the jambon menu with their own sous-vide jambon, and other pizzas too. Eat your pizza at the restaurant~ so good 🤍
