Hanam pizza restaurant for shrimp oil pasta: The Pizzeria Market

I went to The Pizzeria Market Hanam Misa near Mangwol Lake Park for lunch with a friend. I arrived right at its 11 a.m. opening time, but there were already several groups eating. Even on a weekday, guests kept coming in, so I thought it might already be a well-known local favorite in Misa.

Parking in front of the restaurant was convenient, and the interior had a comfortable, effortlessly styled feel. It did not feel like an overly formal restaurant, so it seemed like a nice fit for a meal with friends, a family gathering, or a casual wine date.

Outdoor Terrace and Relaxed Interior

The Pizzeria Market also has an outdoor terrace. I ate indoors on this visit, but once the weather gets nicer, pizza and beer on the terrace would be really lovely. It is also a pet-friendly restaurant, so it looked like a good place to stop by after visiting Mangwol Lake Park with your dog.

There was a variety of seating inside, and the casual yet comfortable atmosphere made it easy to enjoy a meal without feeling stiff. There are high chairs too, so it seemed good for coming with children,

With pizza, pasta, and beer all available, it also looked like a nice spot for a date in Hanam or Misa.

The Pizza Boat and Pasta We Ordered

The Pizzeria Market is a New York-style handmade wood-fired pizza specialist near Mangwol Lake Park. Along with handmade pizzas cooked to order, it had plenty of easy-to-share options including pasta and salads.

There were so many tasty-looking choices that ordering took us a while. We ordered the Italian arugula pizza boat set, bisque shrimp oil pasta, Caesar salad, iced Americano, and Jeju Nouveau non-alcoholic beer. We really ordered a lot, didn’t we? 😂

Looking at it again is making my mouth water.

Italian Arugula Pizza Boat Set ₩11,900

This set comes with an Italian arugula pizza boat made with house olive pesto and an Americano.

Topped with arugula, cherry tomatoes, and stracciatella cheese, it looked pretty and delivered a straightforward, classic flavor. The bread was especially deliciously chewy, and the fresh arugula paired well with the soft cheese. Since the price includes an Americano, it was a very reasonably priced menu item to enjoy. It was not an overwhelming size either, so it was good for ordering alongside several other dishes.

Bisque Shrimp Oil Pasta ₩21,000

This is a linguine oil pasta flavored with heads of sweet shrimp from Jeju. Of everything we ordered, the bisque shrimp pasta was my favorite.

Maybe because the sauce was made with shrimp, the flavor was deep and the seasoning had soaked evenly into the noodles. Though it was an oil pasta, it was not bland at all, and I loved the lingering savory richness.

The shrimp were generously large too, making this a dish definitely worth ordering if you love a deep shrimp flavor. It is a Misa favorite known for wood-fired pizza, but I was so glad we ordered pasta as well.

Caesar Salad ₩11,000

We also ordered the Caesar salad, with romaine, cherry tomatoes, anchovies, Parmigiano cheese, lemon, and bacon.

The crisp vegetables with nutty cheese and bacon made it nice to have between bites of pizza and pasta. It balanced the overall meal, so I think it would be a good one to order when visiting with a group. For drinks, we had iced Americanos and Jeju Nouveau non-alcoholic beer.

It was an aromatic ale-style non-alcoholic beer that paired quite well with the pizza. If you want the feel of having beer even on a day when drinking is difficult, it would be easy to enjoy alongside your meal.

My Overall Take
