Hanam Korean restaurant for a jjukkumi set with dessert coffee
In short
Jigueseo On Jjukkumi Hanam Main Branch is a Korean restaurant near Gogol Reservoir in Cheonggung-dong, Hanam, Gyeonggi. I had the ₩13,000 perilla-oil jjukkumi sotbap set with neat side dishes, scorched-rice tea, and dessert coffee. The big, tender jjukkumi was pleasantly spicy rather than overwhelming.

I was about to just cook ramen at home when I suddenly remembered that jjukkumi I’d thought of during yesterday’s walk, so off we went to a great jjukkumi spot in Hanam :) It felt like a little outing just outside Seoul—so good! Springy, delicious jjukkumi, neat side dishes, and even a cup of coffee for dessert made this Cheonggung-dong, Hanam jjukkumi set such a satisfying meal ♥

Jigueseo On Jjukkumi Hanam Main Branch: location and visitor information
< Jigueseo On Jjukkumi > Hanam Main Branch Hours :: 11:00–21:00 Regular day off :: Thursday No break time Address :: 5 Seohanam-ro 390beon-gil, Hanam-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea This great jjukkumi place in Hanam is near Gogol Reservoir! There’s a large parking lot right in front of the restaurant~

There’s a sink at the entrance for washing your hands~ And a cute little photo spot, too!

A good restaurant for groups and family gatherings
Rather than a jjukkumi restaurant, the place somehow felt like... a live music café??? It was unique, haha. The tables are nice and large, including some really big ones, so it’s great for groups, company dinners, and family gatherings—so good.

Perilla-oil jjukkumi sotbap set menu
So, the menu at this Hanam jjukkumi restaurant includes the perilla-oil jjukkumi sotbap set for ₩13,000, fresh cod soup (clear broth) for ₩15,000, braised monkfish / monkfish soup / braised seafood, flounder mugwort soup / seafood scallion pancake / and even gorgonzola pizza. There’s a great variety of dishes that everyone from kids to older adults will enjoy-
I thought it would be such a nice place for a gathering of adults, and sure enough, lots of people were visiting with their groups^^ We came for a late lunch around 2? 3? and there were still three or four tables occupied, with guests continuing to come in^^ We ordered two servings of their best menu item, the perilla-oil jjukkumi set!

Neatly presented side dishes
First, the side dishes arrived~~ There was a refreshing cold salad that really clears your nose, a nutty salad, tasty kimchi and pickles, plus nicely served myeongnan-jeot (salted pollock roe). The miyeok-guk (seaweed soup) was wonderfully clean and refreshing with clams in it +ㅇ+

Pot rice topped with jujube and pumpkin
Here came the pot rice topped with jujube and pumpkin~~~ Transfer the rice to your bowl, pour water into the pot, and let it sit for a little while~

Big, tender jjukkumi
Here comes today’s star, the jjukkumi (webfoot octopus)! The pieces are so big and substantial. They’re wonderfully plump. Is it because it’s jjukkumi season these days? +ㅇ+

Put some jjukkumi over the rice, drizzle on a little perilla oil? Mmm~~~ mmm~~ so delicious~~ The jjukkumi wasn’t tough at all; it was tender!! And so big, too. It wasn’t intensely spicy, just nicely spicy, so it actually sat comfortably in my stomach. Maybe a little spicier than kimchi?? Perhaps because I’m getting older, super-spicy tteokbokki or jjukkumi gives me a stomachache these days... but I had such a delicious meal :)

Soothe that slight heat with sungnyung (scorched-rice tea)~ Make sungnyung in the rice pot and have it with myeongnan-jeot—so good.

We were too full to try it, but if you join the review event, you can get Hangang ramyeon, too!! Recommended for men with big appetites~~ (I want that machine at home....... It’s been sitting on my wishlist forever, haha)

Dessert coffee and outdoor tables
For dessert, there was ice cream and coffee- It’s gotten a bit chilly lately, so I found myself reaching for warm coffee rather than ice cream. As I made an Americano and headed out, I saw outdoor tables on the right. A lovely spot for a chat over coffee ♥
Jigueseo On Jjukkumi in Hanam was a jjukkumi spot where the green view made it feel like we were on an outing. Takeout is ₩10,000 per serving!! I heard people ordering two portions, then changing it to three- and taking lots home~~ When you eat something delicious, you think of the people at home, right? ^^ Haha
The jjukkumi was delicious, but I’m also curious about the cod soup and braised seafood, so I think I’ll return to Jigueseo On Jjukkumi, this great Hanam Korean set-meal restaurant with pot rice ★★★★★
For days when you’re craving something spicy, want to take a drive somewhere nearby, or want a delicious Korean set meal with pot rice: Jigueseo On Jjukkumi Hanam Main Branch~!
