From the exterior alone, Mentsuru Children's Grand Park Branch has a traditional Japanese feel layered with wood interior details, giving it a much more upscale atmosphere than I expected.
Overall it feels clean and modern, but the bar-style seating especially stood out! The wood-toned interior combined with the bright lighting gave me an instant 'ah, I found the right place' feeling the moment I walked in lol
Maybe because it's near a university area, there were a lot of customers in their 20s and 30s, and another thing I really liked was the open kitchen! Being able to watch the cooking happen right in front of you while you wait somehow built up my trust in the food.
And ladies, pay attention...👀 do they pick the staff by looks or something...? Everyone was pretty good-looking lol
