I visited Sinsa Station for the first time in a while, and this time I stopped by the Sinsa Station pork cutlet spot Ikki Roll Katsu Garosu-gil Main Branch!!!

How to find the entrance when the signs are confusing
The Ikki Roll Katsu sign looks so similar to a restaurant called Miltteok Factory that I got confused about where exactly it was — more on that in a bit haha.

At the storefront entrance there was a standing sign with Ikki Roll Katsu's signature menu items, and the visual made me hungry and eager to eat right away :)

Since Miltteok Factory was also on the basement level, I wondered where exactly Ikki Roll Katsu was — but then I spotted the Ikki Roll Katsu sign on the stairs going down haha.

There was also a food poster on the wall.

The sign had a nice old-school vibe to it too 👍🏻👍🏻

Once you get all the way down to the basement level, both Miltteok Factory and Ikki Roll Katsu are there — and thoughtfully, there were arrow signs for people who might get confused like we did haha.

Seating and the self bar at Ikki Roll Katsu Garosu-gil Main Branch
Inside Ikki Roll Katsu Garosu-gil Main Branch, the seating is mostly 2-4 person tables with a group table in the middle. The first space you see when you enter is a meeting room, which seems to be bookable as a rented space via Naver Reservations!!!
Inside there's a table that seats 6 or more, and it immediately felt like a private space!!
Looking around the restaurant again, the white-and-wood-toned interior caught my eye haha — it definitely felt very clean and calm!!

We sat at a 4-person table and ordered our meal ☺️

And on the side there was a self bar set up, and even at a glance you could see a wide variety of options.

Broccoli cream soup / black rice / jangguk soup cups / kids' water cups / water cups / jangguk cups

Tabasco / wet wipes / small side dish plates / a tray with shredded radish / pickled radish and more — being able to grab whatever you need as you go was really convenient 👍🏻

Opening the table drawer, the cutlery set and tissues were well stocked.

For water, they served rooibos tea, which might be a matter of taste, but it suited my palate really well haha.
What comes with Couple Set B for 44,900 won
The menu we ordered at Ikki Roll Katsu Garosu-gil Main Branch was Couple Set B for ₩44,900. It comes with sweet potato cheese katsu, mushroom cheese roll katsu, stir-fried beef brisket jjolmyeon with lots of salad, and green grape ade.
Sweet potato cheese katsu

The first katsu in our set was the sweet potato cheese katsu haha, known for short as 'gochido'!!!!

I really loved how generously they piled sweet potato mousse on top :)
When you lift a piece like this, the cheese stretches right up with it — that classic satisfying moment you all know, right?
The rice that came with it was black rice, plus lettuce salad — if you like old-school Western-style pork cutlets, you'll eat this really happily 👍🏻
Now let's check out the next katsu!!
Mushroom cheese roll katsu

For the second katsu of the set, we ordered mushroom cheese roll katsu!!

The mushrooms are neatly arranged on top, generously soaked in sauce, which is its signature feature.
This one also came with black rice and lettuce salad 👍🏻

True to its name 'roll katsu,' the mushroom cheese roll katsu is shaped into a roll — like gimbap, the round pork cutlet was packed full of cheese, which I really loved ☺️

Now that both katsu dishes are out, let's take a look at the side dishes.
Flame-grilled beef brisket jjolmyeon with lots of salad

For a side dish, we ordered the stir-fried beef brisket jjolmyeon (chewy noodles) with lots of salad!! With beef brisket on top, plenty of vegetables and plenty of sauce, it looked really delicious :)
Snip it up with scissors and mix well so the seasoning spreads evenly, and it's ready to eat.

The chewy noodles paired really well with the spicy-sweet seasoning — great to eat whenever the katsu starts feeling a bit rich!!
Green grape ade

And for drinks, we ordered the green grape ade,
and even after stirring well and pouring two full glasses, there was still some left — I liked that the portion was generous ☺️
Who should order Couple Set B at Ikki Roll Katsu
If you want to enjoy cheese katsu and jjolmyeon together near Sinsa Station, try Couple Set B at Ikki Roll Katsu Garosu-gil Main Branch!! It's a set that lets you enjoy both sweet potato cheese katsu and mushroom cheese roll katsu together, so I'd recommend it to anyone who can't decide between the two cheese menus haha.
On top of that, it also includes stir-fried beef brisket jjolmyeon with lots of salad and green grape ade, so with a bite of katsu here and a bite of jjolmyeon there, you can add some variety to your meal — a great spread to recommend for a day when two of you want to share several menu items :)
