My husband and I had some business to take care of in Wirye this time, and I got a craving for shabu-shabu, so we stopped for lunch too. Here's my review of Dadam Shabu Shabu near Namwirye Station~!

Where is Dadam Shabu Shabu Wirye, and where do you park?

Dadam Shabu Shabu & Wolnamssam Wirye Branch is near Namwirye Station, so it wasn't hard to find. We got there straight after finishing our errands and the route was convenient. There's underground parking and they help with parking too, so it's fine to drive over~!

Inside Dadam Shabu Shabu Wirye: partitioned private booths

The Dadam Shabu Shabu Wirye dining room was fairly spacious. When we visited, it was full of families out for a meal together. Seats are divided into booths, so we could eat privately without worrying about the next table. The space felt roomy too, so it seemed perfect for family meals with kids. The overall atmosphere was comfortable and relaxed, so we didn't feel rushed sitting there for a while.

Menu prices: 21,900 won for a weekend adult

✔️Namwirye restaurant find Dadam Shabu Shabu's menu board. On weekends it's ₩21,900 for adults, ₩13,900 for elementary schoolers, and ₩8,000 for preschoolers. For a set that includes unlimited shabu-shabu meat plus wolnamssam together, I felt this price was genuinely great value.

What's on the self-bar at Dadam Shabu Shabu Wirye?

Dadam Shabu Shabu's self-bar has a wide variety ready to go: wolnamssam ingredients, shabu-shabu vegetables, broths, dumplings, and noodles. It was great being able to just grab as much as we wanted, and if we needed more of something, we could just go back for it — no need to feel self-conscious about it. There was even coffee and ice cream, so the ending was perfect too.

Unlimited meat shabu-shabu and wolnamssam for two adults

✔️Two adults, unlimited meat shabu-shabu + wolnamssam (₩21,900 per person). We ordered for two adults and started by bringing over a generous plate of meat from the self-bar first. Most shabu-shabu spots only offer unlimited vegetables, but here the meat itself is unlimited, so we could relax and just eat. Dipping the meat briefly in the broth and eating it with the vegetables made it soft and clean-tasting. The meat quality was good too, and being unlimited made it even better.

Clear broth plus spicy broth with minari and bean sprouts

You can choose the broth, and we went with half clear broth, half spicy broth. If you pile minari and mung bean sprouts into the spicy broth, it tastes just like deungchon-style hot pot — I highly recommend this combo!!

Three dipping sauces for the rice paper wraps

✔️Wolnamssam. We got the ingredients from the self-bar properly for this too. We dipped rice paper in water, filled it with whatever we wanted, and rolled it up, and with three different sauces to dip into, it was actually fun.

Finishing the pot with fried rice

✔️Finishing fried rice. After we finished eating, we made fried rice. There was kalguksu (knife-cut noodles) too, but we were full so we skipped it and just had the rice. You haven't really had the full shabu-shabu experience until you finish with the fried rice!

Ice cream and coffee to end the meal

✔️Dessert ice cream. At the end of the meal, we treated ourselves to ice cream for dessert. There was coffee at the self-bar too, so my husband finished off leisurely with a cup.

Is Dadam Shabu Shabu Wirye worth it?

Today I reviewed Dadam Shabu Shabu, a restaurant find near Namwirye Station. It's a great-value spot where you can enjoy unlimited meat shabu-shabu, wolnamssam, fried rice, and dessert all in one visit. The spacious booth seating also made for a comfortable meal. Recommended as a family outing for anyone looking for a place to eat until full with the kids!
