Self-grill chicken feet and scallops at KuuKuu Gold, a Bupyeong buffet

Today I want to introduce an all-you-can-eat buffet spot near Bupyeongsijang Station in Incheon! Here's my detailed review of KuuKuu Gold Bupyeong Branch~

KuuKuu Gold Bupyeong Branch hours and parking

• Building parking lot (free for 1.5 hours)

I visited KuuKuu Gold Bupyeong Branch, an all-you-can-eat sushi buffet near Bupyeongsijang Station~! I've been to KuuKuu many times but this was my first time at a Gold branch, so I was extra excited! The entrance alone felt so grand, I was already thrilled~!!!

Weekday lunch price and interior seating

There was a clean menu board right at the entrance showing the pricing and usage info at a glance! We visited on a weekday for lunch and went with the weekday lunch option — ₩27,900 per person (must exit by 5pm)!

Even though we came early at 11:30am on a weekday, so many customers kept pouring in!

Inside, besides the standard 4-person tables, there was a separate group seating area, which looked perfect for company dinners, small gatherings, or big parties~ The tables were spaced generously too, so we could eat comfortably!

On one side there was also a neat little kids' play area, so I'd highly recommend this place for family meals with young children!!

The self-grill zone

The special self-grill zone only found at KuuKuu Gold! You can grill a variety of meat, seafood, and vegetables yourself on the spot — a must-visit corner!!

All kinds of fresh meat, seafood, and vegetables were laid out ready to go! Just take as much as you want onto a plate and grill it yourself~

I grilled my absolute favorites — chicken feet and scallops~!! The chewy chicken feet and thick scallops were, of course, delicious! You get to pick your own ingredients and grill them exactly how you like, and eating them fresh off the grill made everything so much more satisfying haha. Total flavor bomb~

The sushi corner

KuuKuu's main attraction, the sushi corner! Flounder, salmon, shrimp, tuna, egg sushi, plus all kinds of gunkan and rolls — the sheer variety is insane~ As a sushi lover, my eyes practically rolled back in my head.

The sashimi was fresh and generously sized, with just the right amount of rice, so I could try lots of different kinds without feeling too full! The tuna in particular looked insane...!!! It melted in my mouth ㅠㅠ

Grilled and fried dishes, tacos

There was such a variety of seafood and meat dishes that even people who aren't into sushi would find plenty to enjoy ^🐽^

I made myself a taco, and the ingredients were fresh — it genuinely felt like something from a specialty taco shop!! It was so good I went back for seconds~

The Chinese food corner had crowd-pleasers like sweet and sour pork and fried rice, and the pizza corner kept getting restocked with hot fresh pizza so you could always grab a warm slice!

The seafood corner and the perfect soy crab combo

There was a huge range of seafood — roe-packed soy crab, grilled shrimp, salmon, tuna, seasoned shrimp, mulhoe (cold raw fish soup), and more!!!

As a certified soy crab addict, I piled my plate super high with it lol. The crab was completely packed with roe and looked so good ㅠㅠㅠ. Grab a flying fish roe roll, mix it into the crab shell, and eat it that way — it's incredible haha. Please, please eat it like this ㅠㅠㅜㅜ absolutely amazing.

Hangang ramyeon

They also had a ramyeon machine set up! Getting to cook your own ramyeon buffet-style, with that iconic Han River convenience-store vibe, felt so fun and unique, and it cut right through the greasiness in between dishes haha. One sip of that spicy broth and the combo was just perfect!!!!

Pro tip 🍯 Add some spicy fish cake and the combo is absolutely unbeatable haha.

Fruit and dessert corner

With everything from fresh fruit to cakes and bread on offer, it was the perfect way to cleanse the palate at the end!! I really love watermelon so I grabbed some. The fruit was so sweet and delicious I went back for more ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

There was such a variety of drinks too — I nearly burst trying the slushies, plum juice, sikhye (sweet rice drink), and taro milk tea haha.

There were all kinds of waffles and cookies, plus a chocolate fondue, so if you love chocolate you could go wild pouring it over everything!

Ice cream, bingsu (shaved ice), and even marble ice cream,,, ㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ I genuinely love marble ice cream and finally got to scoop it out to my heart's content ㅠㅠ

I wrapped up today's meal with marble ice cream!! There were so many flavors and the quality was great, I nearly burst from eating too much haha.

Who is KuuKuu Gold Bupyeong Branch good for?

KuuKuu Gold Bupyeong Branch, a great all-you-can-eat sushi buffet in Bupyeong. I already really love KuuKuu, and this was my first time visiting a Gold branch! The lineup of sushi, gunkan, and rolls was strong as always, plus there were grilled dishes, seafood, and fried food too~ And getting to grill a variety of food myself at the self-grill zone, exclusive to Gold branches, was a real highlight!

On top of that, with Hangang ramyeon and marble ice cream to enjoy along the way, I got the full experience from meal to dessert ^🐽^ Even arriving early at 11:30am on a weekday, the place filled up fast, so you can really feel how popular it is. With spacious group seating and a kids' play area, I'd recommend it to anyone with young children too!
