It's a charcoal grill specialty restaurant where you can enjoy all-you-can-eat domestic eel, beef, or pork depending on your taste.

And it's not just unlimited meat — there's tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), sundae (blood sausage), pasta, dubu-kimchi (tofu with kimchi), plus special dishes, Hangang ramyeon, drinks, ice cream, and even coffee at the self-bar!

Jangsodam Eel & Beef Buffet Yeongjong Direct Store is on the 2nd floor of Hyojeong Plaza, Haneuljungang-ro 195beon-gil, Yeongjong-gu, Incheon. Hours are 11:00 - 23:00, closed September 25 for Chuseok, and parking is available.

Getting to Jangsodam and where to park

Jangsodam is located on the 2nd floor of Hyojeong Plaza, behind Yeongjong-gu Office. If you're driving, there's free parking in the building's basement.

Parking can be a real headache for family outings with kids or gatherings with a group, but since parking is available in the building, visiting by car felt stress-free.

Inside the Yeongjong meat buffet

Walking in, the place turned out to be bigger than I expected.

Overall it was spacious and comfortable! The tables weren't cramped together and the interior was kept clean, so it was a pleasant place to eat. At all-you-can-eat spots you have to get up and move around a lot to grab food, which is annoying when the layout is cramped or tables are packed close — but Jangsodam's roomy space made it easy to move around.

It seemed great for a comfortable family meal, and also fine as a spot for a bigger family gathering or a company dinner in Yeongjong.

Jangsodam set menus and how long you get to eat

At Jangsodam you can choose Set A through Set D depending on what meat you want to eat.

I liked that you could choose based on your favorite — eel, beef, or pork. The time limit is 120 minutes if you order eel or beef, and 100 minutes for pork.

What the family ordered at Jangsodam

Our family picked Set C! For a meat-loving family like ours, it was the perfect combination since it let us eat everything from beef to pork.

Before diving in, we checked out the self-bar first, and there were way more options than I expected.

What's on the self-bar at Jangsodam?

Let me introduce the self-bar at Jangsodam, an all-you-can-eat spot in Yeongjong. I thought there'd just be vegetables and sauces to go with the meat, but looking around it was practically a full buffet!

From sundae to tteokbokki, pasta, and dubu-kimchi, there was a nice variety of easy, snackable dishes ready to go. When you're visiting with a kid, having plenty of dishes to choose from besides meat is surprisingly important — and it was fun grabbing a little of everything to try.

All kinds of sauces and drinks were ready too, and there was even ice cream and coffee for after the meal, so you could handle everything from the start of the meal to dessert in one place.

The refrigerated case had a variety of options ready — pork, dak-galbi (spicy chicken), sausages, pork skin, and more.

There were also fresh vegetables ready to go, perfect to eat alongside the meat.

And while looking around the self-bar, I spotted Hangang ramyeon (Han River instant noodles)!

No matter how full you get from meat, there's somehow always room left for ramyeon, right? This must be a welcome corner for anyone who wants to finish off a meat meal with noodles.

Set C: beef cuts, yukhoe and seasoned raw crab

Set C includes beef, yukhoe, and yangnyeom gejang, so we started by grilling up the beef.

Instead of just one cut, we got to try several different beef cuts, which made picking and choosing fun.

We laid the beef on the charcoal, grilled it just right, and took a bite~

Our meat-loving family really started digging in.

The best thing about all-you-can-eat is being able to add whatever meat you like without feeling self-conscious!

We ate a ton but still weren't satisfied, so we added sirloin twice.

I didn't expect much from the yukhoe at an all-you-can-eat BBQ place, but the quality was better than expected, which was satisfying.

And the seasoned crab was a nice surprise! It was heartier than I expected too, the kind of taste that makes you crave rice. Eating beef, then crab, then grabbing more from the self-bar — with so much food, the table kept getting fuller and fuller.

Free special dishes, including kongtteok-kongtteok

Another thing I liked about Jangsodam was that you can order special dishes for free too!

There was a good variety ready to go — fried eggplant, fries, pork cutlet, kongtteok-kongtteok, and more. There's already plenty to eat at the self-bar, but being able to order special dishes on top of that made picking and trying different things even more fun.

My kid asked for kongtteok-kongtteok, so we ordered it, and it must have hit the spot because they really ate it up.

After the beef: seasoned pork at Jangsodam

We'd already eaten a lot — beef, yukhoe, seasoned crab, self-bar food — but since we came for all-you-can-eat, we had to try the pork too! We grilled it nicely on the charcoal and ate every last piece.

We were really full, but there's always room for dessert, so the real finale was ice cream! Finishing with cool, sweet ice cream after the meal felt like a proper ending~
