With everything from jellies kids love to fun toys, it's a great jelly spot in Yeongjong to stop by on a walk after school pickup 💛

A discovery on a walk after school pickup
After picking up the kids, I didn't feel like going straight home, so for once I took both of them out for a walk around the neighborhood haha. Lately, on days when the weather's decent, I try to walk a bit after pickup, and this time on our walk a new shop I hadn't noticed before caught my eye. It looked packed with colorful snacks, and the kids showed interest right away, so we went closer.

It turned out to be Rolly Polly Yeongjong Sky City. It seemed like a newly opened place, which made me curious, and more than anything, it had such a variety of jellies, snacks, toys and even slime that our kids loved, it was hard to just walk past haha.

A whole store full of snacks kids will love
Once we walked in, there were more kinds of snacks than I'd expected, and the kids couldn't look away hahaha. They already love snacks like jellies and chocolate, so the moment we stepped in they were busy checking everything out.
It wasn't just ordinary snacks — there were plenty of products with characters and fun shapes that kids love, so it was genuinely fun to browse. These days kids love things that taste good, but for picking out a snack, the shape and packaging matter too, right? It really was the kind of place that would light up a kid's eyes haha.

I thought it was a toy — turns out there was a snack inside?!
What the kids liked especially were the products combining toys and snacks. There was a toy gun and several other fun toys, and they weren't just plain toys — some had chocolate or other snacks inside. From a kid's point of view, wanting both a toy and a snack, it's a complete bullseye haha.
My first child looked around the store and ended up picking a toy gun. Honestly, I figured once she ate the snack inside she'd stop playing with the toy pretty quickly, but she's still playing with it a lot more than I expected.

The quality of the toy gun she chose is better than I expected haha
After we got home, she happily ate the chocolate inside, and kept playing with the toy gun even afterward. When I actually tried it myself, I was a little surprised at how decent the quality was. It makes sounds and lights up, which made it even more fun for her to play with.
I thought it would be the kind of toy you toss after eating the one snack inside, but seeing her still play with it makes me think she genuinely liked it. It was a place we walked into by chance after pickup, and I didn't expect it to be this satisfying. The kids got to enjoy chocolate and gain a toy — a totally happy day 😊.

A good place to browse together with your kids
When I take my two kids to a snack shop, it usually ends with them picking just one thing, but here they could browse toys and snacks together, so they stayed entertained for quite a while. The process of choosing what to buy seemed to be a small joy for them too. Since there's a wide variety of snack types kids typically love, like jellies and chocolate, it seems like a great visit for kids who love snacks.
My kids kept going 'should we get this?' 'this one too!' while browsing happily haha. Since we found it by chance while out on a walk, it feels even more memorable to me.

What made me most satisfied personally is that my first child is still playing with the toy gun she picked. At first I thought she chose it for the chocolate, but watching her keep playing with it after finishing all the chocolate, the toy itself must have really appealed to her 😄. With sound and lights, it had plenty going for it to keep her entertained.
