Naneun Jigeum Saengseoni Meokgo Sipda Yongdam Airport Branch is a grilled fish restaurant in Yongdam-dong, near Jeju Airport. Visiting on a weekend evening at 6pm, the writer ordered the Big Son Set for two (₩36,000) with mackerel, cutlassfish, croaker, flounder, and sundubu-jjigae (soft tofu stew), getting seated with no wait. Taste and portions were satisfying, but the alley beside the restaurant is narrow, so parking is worth planning ahead.

Bibimbap lunchbox for Jeju stadium away-game cheering: Jejju City Hall

Jejju City Hall Branch is a premium lunchbox and sushi shop on Sinseong-ro in Jeju City, Jeju. Suragan Tteokbang is a rice cake shop on Noyeon-ro in Nohyeong-dong, Jeju City, close to Jeju International Airport. On the morning of a Seoul-bound flight, before 9am, the writer picked up freshly made omegi-tteok (glutinous rice cake) packed with an ice pack — 30 pieces for ₩30,000 — choosing six flavors: tangerine, barley, soybean powder, nuts, red bean, and black sesame. Cheongchuni Oranda Dongmun Market Main Branch Tapdong is a traditional snack shop inside Jeju's Dongmun Market that makes its own oranda (colorful mini rice-cake donuts) and gwajul (Korean twisted fried dough cookies). Free samples showed off the moist texture first, then a stall behind the shop let visitors watch the oranda actually being made, and the shop is easy to find via Gate 2 or Gate 9.
