Yangchonri Millak is a branch of a brand that began in 1986 as a Western-style tonkatsu restaurant opened by grandmother Oh Sun-ja in Muan, Miryang, South Gyeongsang Province, and is now run by the third generation after her son and granddaughter took it over. Alongside handmade tonkatsu, Yangchonri Millak serves old-style handmade hamburg steak in two versions (demi-glace sauce or curry sauce), Grandma's Udon and shrimp tempura udon.

Besides tonkatsu, Yangchonri Millak's other mainstay is spicy baby octopus (jjukkumi) cooked over an open flame for a smoky flavour, offered as a rice bowl or as a stir-fry for 3–4 people to go with drinks.
