Mullae teppanyaki restaurant for okonomiyaki: Jojo
In short
Jojo Mullae Branch is a teppanyaki restaurant in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. At a late solo lunch, I had the signature okonomiyaki and Waterfall Potato for 17,000 won and 7,000 won. Verdict: a satisfying spot for hot griddle dishes and drinks in Mullae.

🧑🏻🍳 Lately I’ve been hooked on cooking shows and keep watching Culinary Class Wars 2, and I was suddenly craving Jojo’s okonomiyaki from the Iron Plate Master, the “dirt spoon” contestant!

Jojo Mullae Branch location and parking
📍 Location: 4-2 Dorim-ro 139-gil, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul 📍 Hours: Daily 11:30–22:00 Break time: 15:30–17:00 Last order: 14:30 / 21:00 📍 Parking: No parking in the building
🅿️ Parking in or in front of the building is difficult, so I parked at the nearby Mullae Neighborhood Park Public Parking Lot and walked over.

📺 Jojo became even more famous after the Iron Plate Master appeared on Culinary Class Wars 2 as a “dirt spoon” contestant :) I came to Jojo Mullae Branch for a late solo lunch, and lots of people were having daytime drinks too! 🍻

The teppanyaki-table atmosphere in Mullae Creative Village
🧸 Mullae-dong usually has lots of cute little shops, but Jojo Mullae Branch, inside Mullae Creative Village, was bigger, cleaner, and roomier than I expected. (I loved how comfortable it was too ✨) 🍳 Just as you’d expect from a teppanyaki place, every table had a big griddle right in the middle, haha. I recommend it for a date at a great Mullae-dong restaurant 🥹

Ordering okonomiyaki and Waterfall Potato
There are various set menus—the Signature for 2 (₩39,000), Signature for 3 (₩52,000), Monjayaki for 2 (₩39,500), and Rice for 2 (₩36,000)—so you can taste several dishes at once. It’s a great-value lineup too 🤭
📋 I ordered the Jojo Signature Okonomiyaki (₩17,000) and Waterfall Potato (₩7,000)! (Next time, I need to try the monjayaki and yakisoba too, hehe.)

While the griddle heated up, the okonomiyaki and Waterfall Potato came out ready to cook! 😋 The okonomiyaki had minced pork, squid, and shrimp in it. It already looked delicious, right? Hehe ✨

Potatoes with egg yolk flowing like a waterfall
🥔 The egg yolk flowed down like a waterfall over fluffy mashed potatoes and crispy toppings—it made me want a beer just looking at it 🍺 (sip) The whole-grain sauce and potatoes were delicious with the soft egg added in ㅠㅠ And when you eat the toppings too, you get an extra crunch 😚 A recommendation for a restaurant and bar near Mullae Station ‼️

Okonomiyaki eaten while hot
🍽️ Once the okonomiyaki was nicely browned on the griddle, they piled on lots of katsuobushi (dried bonito flakes) and brushed on mayonnaise sauce, and it looked seriously appetizing 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 It had plenty of cabbage, so the texture was very soft, and the katsuobushi and various sauces added such great savory depth!!
🌿 There are three sauces—Jojo special sauce, mayonnaise, and hot sauce—so you can drizzle on more according to your taste 👍🏻

The okonomiyaki was even better eaten right away while hot 🖤 It paired perfectly with the Waterfall Potato too. Most of all, I left absolutely stuffed hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha Next time I’ll come back for monjayaki and yakisoba!!! (So delicious..💗)
