J-C curl lash lift near Gongdeok Station, 7-day hold: Iyo Shop

My lashes had been drooping and even a curler wouldn't hold them for long, so I went for a lash lift near Gongdeok Station at Iyo Shop …♥ I wanted something natural rather than a sharply curled-up look, so I asked for a J-curl, and the result — each lash combed neatly strand by strand — was so, so satisfying haha♥♥ Here's the honest before-and-after, including how it looked right after the treatment and 7 days later!

Iyo Shop is on the 2nd floor of the building, so I followed the signs up the stairs. Being near Gongdeok Station, it's an easy spot for office workers nearby to drop by before or after work!! If it's your first visit like it was mine, checking the building entrance and the way up to the 2nd floor beforehand will make it easier to find.

One client per hour, so book ahead

There were separate waiting seats inside the salon for before and after the treatment haha!! Treatments run one client per hour, and if the next customer arrives first, they wait in the seating area lol. It seems word has gotten around among office workers near Gongdeok, because a lot of people seemed to come by after work lol ((even while I was getting mine done, the next time slot's customer was already waiting ;;)) If you have a specific date and time in mind, I'd recommend booking ahead!

On one side, cotton pads, remover, and cotton swabs were set out so you can clean up your eye makeup before the treatment lol. I liked that the supplies were kept neat and organized instead of scattered around, so you could use just what you needed comfortably!!

The salon also had information posted about Perma Blend and Allmaya pigments haha!! Since I got the moisture nutrition perm, I went without any tint this time..!! Zero Pay is accepted too, which is good to know before you pay!!★

How was the hygiene and atmosphere?

There was also a separate sink area inside for washing hands. Since this is such a delicate hands-on treatment, seeing a space like this gave me the impression that this place takes hygiene and cleanliness seriously haha.

When picking a lash lift place near Gongdeok Station, I care about the result but I'm also low-key picky about how clean the space feels.. and both the hygiene and the comfort of the bed were satisfying! In short, it was calm and cozy without feeling cluttered or chaotic, which made it comfortable🍃

J-curl or C-curl? Somewhere in between

Should I go with a J-curl, or a C-curl?

I feel like I agonize over this every single time lol. Honestly it's probably because I want something between natural and glamorous, right in the middle;;

This time at Iyo Shop I asked for something between J and C.. and they nailed it exactly?? I'm so happy with it ㅠㅠㅎ

Even from below, each lash is caught neatly!! What I especially liked was that the lashes weren't tangled or splayed in different directions in the middle — each one was caught individually and gathered neatly, which looked so good 🩷 It's a natural J-curl, but compared to before the treatment my eyes look much more defined, giving them a subtle presence even bare-faced lol

Unlike the sharp bend you get from rushing a curler, the curl flows smoothly from the root..★ Exactly the look I wanted!! (squeal_)

How the lash lift held up after 7 days

It would be a shame if it only looked good on the day and fell out quickly, so I took photos a week later too!! At 7 days, the overall curl was still holding and the lashes weren't scattering in different directions, so I didn't need to use a curler in the mornings!! ((the hold is also amazing)) Even when applying mascara lightly, having the base curl already set cut down my prep time, and I finally get why people get these done regularly lol. Of course, how long it lasts can vary depending on your own lash condition and daily care, but for me it was still holding up nicely a week later!

I really liked Iyo Shop for the natural yet clearly well-groomed J-curl C-curl lash lift and the clean, comfortable treatment space🩷 If you're an office worker near Gongdeok stopping by after work, or looking for a place that's good at lash lifts near Gongdeok Station, it might be worth booking ahead and paying a visit :)
