Lash lift for thick, straight lashes near Gongdeok Station: Iyo Shop

Today I'm writing about my visit to Iyo Shop, a lash lift salon near Gongdeok Station! You walk into the building shown in the photo and head up to the 2nd floor. It's only about a 5-minute walk from Gongdeok Station, so the accessibility was really great!

• Hours: Mon–Fri 08:00–21:00 / Sat 09:00–21:00 / Sun 09:00–16:00
• Parking: 2 hours free parking available in the building at 143 Mapodae-ro (Park Palace 2)

Weekend hours are different, so keep that in mind and book a reservation before visiting!

How do you make a reservation?

You can book through Naver Reservation, and there's a ₩20,000 deposit! The deposit gets deducted from the service cost afterward~ No need for a separate bank transfer, and you can also pay the deposit through Naver Pay, which was convenient! Reservations got confirmed instantly :) The available time slots range from morning to evening, so it should be convenient for office workers to visit too~!

Salon interior and cleanliness

Photos of the inside of the salon! It had a white-toned interior that felt neatly organized and clean!

Since this is a treatment where you lie down while solution is applied directly to your skin, cleanliness matters a lot to me, and Iyo Shop felt tidy and clean so I could get the treatment without any uneasy feelings!

Is the treatment bed comfortable?

This is the bed where the treatment happens. Lash lifts require lying down for about an hour, and if the bed is hard or the pillow is uncomfortable, your whole body ends up stiff by the end ㅠㅠ I actually had one experience at another salon where the bed was so uncomfortable I never went back!! Iyo Shop's bed let me get through the treatment comfortably with no issues, which I loved!

I went with the moisture nutrition perm, and I thought next time I'd like to try the dual perm or point extension!

Here are the unfiltered after photos... hahahaha. I'm an L-curl kind of person...?! I like it lifted super tight, but when that curl relaxes over time it doesn't look pretty ㅠㅠ It relaxes in this weird zigzag, all over the place. So if you're thinking about it relaxing naturally and prettily, a C-curl is better, but then with a C-curl my eye shape ends up looking kind of unsatisfying and plain, and it relaxes fast too...? So I asked for something appropriately tight, and she nailed it perfectly! haha

It's a bit much having so many photos of just my eyes...;; haha But from every angle, the curl came out great with no weird kinks anywhere! I'm super satisfied! My lashes are on the thicker, straighter side, which has often given salons trouble, but Iyo Shop totally nailed it, haha

This one is after adding extensions on top of the perm, this is the vibe! If you like that super lifted look, I think everyone would be happy with this curl! ✨✨✨

Anyway! Iyo Shop, a great lash lift spot near Gongdeok Station, totally satisfied me! It's close to Gongdeok Station, and for a treatment like lash lifts that you basically need once a month, location and accessibility matter a ton — the location is great and the skill is great too, so I definitely plan to come back haha! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
