Yeongdeungpo Korean snack restaurant tteokbokki feast: Hyeonseonine
In short

Beside the moving walkway, not the IFC Mall food court
I was shopping in Yeouido when I started craving tteokbokki, so I stopped by Hyeonseonine Premium IFC Mall Branch (현선이네 프리미엄 IFC몰점).
You can have everything from tteokbokki to sundae and fried snacks here, so I definitely recommend it if you love Korean street-food-style snacks💓 I came while looking for a good tteokbokki spot in Yeouido, and it was perfect for enjoying a generous mix of menu items.
Hyeonseonine Premium is on IFC Mall's B2 level. One thing to watch out for: it isn't inside the IFC Mall food-court area, but beside the moving walkway between IFC Mall and Yeouido Station‼️

It was easy to reach because you can get from Yeouido Station toward IFC Mall.

It seemed like a convenient location for Yeouido office workers looking for lunch or a quick dinner.

The interior was neat, too.

The Hyeonseoni Set with tteokbokki, sundae, and fried snacks
I ordered the ₩23,000 Hyeonseoni Set and a ₩2,000 Coke Zero. For ₩25,000 total, I enjoyed a generous Korean snack spread.

The Hyeonseoni Set includes tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes), sundae (Korean blood sausage), fried items, and rice balls. I like trying a bit of everything rather than having just one item, so I loved this set. If you want tteokbokki plus a range of Korean snacks while searching for a Yeouido tteokbokki spot, the Hyeonseoni Set is a solid choice.

Our order came out quickly! It looked so appetizing.
Medium-spicy tteokbokki and fried snacks dipped in the sauce
Naturally, the tteokbokki was the first thing I reached for. We ordered medium spice, and it was nicely spicy and delicious. (About the heat level of Shin Ramyun!)

The red sauce looked so appetizing that it got my appetite going just looking at it. The sauce coated the rice cakes well, so I kept reaching for more, and it was great for enjoying that distinct sweet-and-spicy Korean snack flavor.

Since I had come looking for a Yeouido tteokbokki spot, having the other items alongside the tteokbokki made the meal even more satisfying.

You can't leave out the fried snacks, either. Fried snacks dipped in tteokbokki sauce are delicious every time, aren't they?

I loved that there were so many kinds of fried snacks, including fried squid, dumplings, and sweet potato. The crisp fried snacks and spicy tteokbokki made a great combination.

So I would recommend it to anyone looking for Yeouido tteokbokki who considers the tteokbokki-and-fried-snack combination especially important.

A filling finish with rice balls and sundae
The rice balls made it filling, too. Tteokbokki alone can feel a little lacking, but with rice balls included, it worked well as a full meal.

Having rice balls between bites naturally tempered the spiciness, so the menu had a nice balance.

The sundae also went really well with the tteokbokki. It was good on its own, but lightly dipping it in the tteokbokki sauce gave it another kind of appeal.

Alternating bites of tteokbokki and sundae made me think, once again, that Korean snacks really should be enjoyed with several items together.

We ordered a Coke Zero as well. It was ₩2,000, and its cold fizz went nicely with the tteokbokki and fried snacks. The Hyeonseoni Set and Coke Zero came to ₩25,000 in total, and I was happy with it because I got to try tteokbokki, sundae, fried items, and rice balls evenly.

It was a good place to visit when you get hungry while shopping at IFC Mall, or whenever you want Korean snacks in Yeouido without too much fuss. In particular, it should suit anyone looking for a Yeouido tteokbokki spot who prefers a generous set over a single menu item.

Personally, my favorite combination was dipping the fried snacks in the tteokbokki sauce and having sundae alongside them. Finishing with the rice balls made it a satisfying meal. Being able to enjoy everything from tteokbokki to side dishes at once is the Hyeonseoni Set's strength.

If you're craving tteokbokki at Yeouido IFC Mall or looking for a good Yeouido tteokbokki spot, stop by Hyeonseonine Premium. It was a good choice for anything from a quick meal before or after shopping to a filling Korean snack meal. If you love tteokbokki, sundae, and fried snacks like I do, I think you should try them all at once with the Hyeonseoni Set.
