In short

Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch is a Korean restaurant in Ingye-dong, Suwon, serving Jeju-style hangover soup and dombe meat. We visited at 11 a.m. after a night out and had offal soup, boneless hangover soup with glass noodles, and dombe meat. A warming, generously filled meal for lunch or recovery near Suwon City Hall.

After having a blast in Ingye-dong the night before, we headed to Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch (제주은희네해장국 수원인계점) for a morning hangover cure. I heard you can have the famous Jeju hangover soup here in Suwon too, so of course I had to try it (๑•ᴗ•๑)

A relaxed dining room before lunch

We arrived around 11 a.m. to soothe our stomachs with something piping hot, and I loved that the restaurant was more spacious than expected with plenty of open seats. Once lunch began, nearby office workers came flooding in,,! There were really so many office workers, so it seems to be a popular Suwon City Hall lunch spot.

Ordering dombe meat and hangover soup

We ordered a small dombe meat, offal soup, and boneless hangover soup! We came to cure a hangover, but still chose our menu very thoroughly, haha.

You can freely refill any side dishes at the self-service bar, and they also have separate children's utensils, so it seemed nice for a visit with kids. They also say an extra bowl of rice is free when each person orders a meal. So generous 👏

They were also running a review event! Write a review and you can choose one of a drink, seonji-guk (ox blood soup), or seasoned tripe. You know I could not just pass that up!!

A must-have basic side dish with hangover soup: kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi)! It was crunchy and nicely seasoned, so it paired perfectly with the soup. It was so good that I got a refill,,

Dombe meat shared with my child

First up was the small dombe meat. Since the gukbap-style soup dishes were not something my child could eat, we ordered dombe meat that we could share. The meat came in thick slices, so I cut it into child-friendly pieces for them.

It was mild and easy to eat, and as we kept picking up one piece at a time, it disappeared in no time haha. My child gave it a thumbs-up too, saying it was delicious 👍

Then came the offal soup and boneless hangover soup we ordered for a proper hangover cure.

People, look at this hangover soup. Just the look of it made me feel like my stomach was clearing right up. It came piled high in an earthenware bowl, with a rich-looking broth and loads of ingredients, so our early-morning hangover mission was completely worth it~

The offal soup had plenty of offal, seonji (coagulated ox blood), and tripe. The broth was spicy and rich but not overly intense. Anyway, ridiculously delicious,, I finished a whole bowl of rice first thing in the morning! One spoonful of broth with the offal, and it felt like all the alcohol from the night before was washing right away ^^,,

The boneless hangover soup was the dish my younger sibling chose. What was unusual was that it had glass noodles in it! With the noodles in the broth, it looked especially substantial too. I asked my sibling how it was, and they said it was insanely good, hahaha 🤭

With filling broth and a varied menu, Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk's Ingye Branch is also great for lunch. More than anything, when you are craving that signature hot hangover-soup broth, one bowl warms you right through. Next time, I need to try the boneless hangover soup too. If you are looking for lunch or a hangover cure near Suwon City Hall, do stop by Jeju Eunhuine Haejangguk Suwon Ingye Branch!!🤎
