A calm interior atmosphere

Calm atmosphere inside the massage shop

As you’d expect from a massage shop, the interior had a very calm, relaxing atmosphere overall 🌿 A gentle, pleasant scent welcomed me as soon as I entered, easing some of my tension and making it feel like I’d truly come to rest 😊 The lighting and atmosphere weren’t overly bright, so I already felt relaxed before my aroma treatment even began 💛

A foot scrub that began with warm water

Foot scrub preparation

The interior was clean, and the owner was so kind that I felt comfortable from the start 😊 After changing into the clothes prepared by The Hanoi Foot & Body, I soaked my feet in warm water and started with a foot scrub 🦶

Foot scrub beginning with warm water

It had been a while since I’d had a foot scrub, and it felt like built-up fatigue was melting away, so I was already in a good mood from the very beginning 🌿

Relaxing during the foot scrub

While I soaked my feet, they also prepared warm tea. It tasted lovely, and it was nice to slowly sip it while resting 🍵 Starting by relaxing my feet like this before the full aroma treatment made both my body and mind feel much more at ease 💛

Aroma Basic Care and choosing an oil

Aroma Basic Care information

I chose the Aroma Basic Care 💆♀️ Before the treatment starts, you can choose your preferred essential oil yourself 🌿 There were three scents available: eucalyptus, lavender, and bergamot ✨

Choosing an essential oil

Normally, I might have considered soft-smelling lavender too, but my muscles had been especially stiff lately, so I chose eucalyptus 😊 Its subtle scent lingered throughout the aroma treatment, making me feel refreshed yet relaxed, which I really liked 💛

Eucalyptus oil aroma treatment

Dry massage, oil massage, and hot stones

Beginning the Aroma Basic Care

Honestly, I was really satisfied with the Aroma Basic Care 💆♀️ To me, the overall treatment seemed to be divided into three main stages 🌿 It began with a dry massage, and from the very start it was so refreshing that I was like, what is this?! 😆

Dry massage treatment process

I’ve been going for manual therapy twice a week lately, and I was surprised because the therapist’s hands were just as skillful as my manual therapist’s 🙌 I tend to carry a lot of tension, so muscles all over my body had become quite knotted, but the therapist carefully worked through every hard, tight area 😊

Massage treatment with adjustable pressure

Maybe because they wanted to really loosen my muscles, the pressure gradually became stronger, so I asked them to go a little gentler halfway through 😂 You don’t have to endure strong pressure; if you immediately say what intensity works for you, they comfortably adjust it, which was great 💛 Once the dry massage was finished, the oil massage began in earnest 💆♀️ The oil massage loosened my muscles gently in a different way from the dry massage, and it felt so comfortable as my body naturally relaxed 🌿

Oil massage treatment process

After the dry massage had thoroughly released the tight areas, transitioning smoothly into oil massage made the whole flow feel great 😊 The third stage was a hot-stone massage using warm stones 🔥 They massaged my upper body with heated stones, and as the warmth reached my muscles, the tense areas seemed to release all at once—it felt incredibly refreshing ✨ After the hot-stone massage, the upper-body care was complete, followed by a simple lower-body massage 🦵 They gave firm acupressure to my calves and soles, and that felt so good too that I’d love to try a separate lower-body massage course next time 😆 I think it would be especially satisfying on a day when you’ve walked a lot or your legs feel heavy 💛 After both the upper- and lower-body massages, they finished with some gentle stretching 🙌 As they slowly stretched my body, it felt as if each stiff joint was being released one by one, so the finish was wonderfully refreshing too ❤️

Hot-stone massage and lower-body acupressure

The Aroma Basic Care I received at The Hanoi Foot & Body in Songpa was satisfying from beginning to end 💆♀️ From the dry massage to the oil massage, hot-stone massage, lower-body acupressure, and stretching, my whole body felt much lighter 🌿 My knotted muscles had loosened, and my back and legs felt more comfortable too, so I was really glad I went 😊 If you’re looking for a massage in Garak or an aroma massage in Songpa, I’d recommend The Hanoi Foot & Body Songpa Garak Branch 💛
