Inside, Katsu Monster Yeonnam Main Branch is split into bar seats and table seats. Whether alone, with friends, or on a date, it felt comfortable to visit in any situation, and the space had a cozy feel.

The walls were decorated with cute little posters, which were fun to look at, and I was very satisfied with the delicious, relaxed time I spent there,,💙

I got to fully soak in Japanese vibes right here in Korea, almost like I was on a trip to Japan — a great Yeonnam-dong spot for solo dining.

Even eating alone, I wanted to try different cuts, and this was perfect — plus the spicy fish cake udon cut right through the richness, totally hitting my taste!

The visual of the three freshly fried, crispy tonkatsu was seriously amazing,,,😘✨ Just looking at it made my mouth water, and the first bite delivered both crispiness and a clean, light flavor — absolutely delicious.

I really love cheese, and this cheese tonkatsu was packed full of it, so I was completely satisfied — it felt like an upgraded version of that savory appeal,,

Getting to enjoy the dual charms of the tender fillet and the clean, light loin at the same time made me so happy — and it was delicious.

Spicy fish cake udon

The fish cake udon came in a generous portion too, with plump noodles, deeply flavored fish cake, and a spicy savoriness all in one bowl — absolutely delicious, and it paired wonderfully with the tonkatsu.

The plump udon noodles made for a more filling, satisfying meal, and it tasted like premium udon rather than something cheap and instant-like — I loved that.

Beyond the noodles, the broth itself was deeply flavored and packed with ingredients, making the meal even more filling.

Getting to enjoy three different tonkatsu flavors at once let me experience a variety of charms, and the quality was so good it made for a happy meal.
