Jeju pork noodle restaurant with kids, double portion: Myeonjumak Jeju

I'm Rin Princess Mom, documenting my 3-night, 4-day Jeju trip one post at a time. Today I'm sharing an honest review of my meal at Myeonjumak Jeju Main Branch (면주막 제주본점), famous as a Jeju noodle spot and a must-stop near Eco Land for tourists.

Location and parking at Myeonjumak Jeju Main Branch

This Jeju pork noodle restaurant sits on the east side of the island: 3 minutes from Jeju Stone Park, 6 from Eco Land, 7 from Gyorae Natural Recreation Forest, 10 from Sangumburi, 12 from Saryeoni Forest Path, and 20 from Hamdeok Beach. If you're passing through eastern Jeju, you can stop here for a meal without any hassle — it's especially convenient right after visiting Eco Land!!

There's a private lot with room for over 100 cars, so beginner drivers and big vehicles alike can park without worry. Plenty of tour groups were there when I visited, and there was still enough room to eat comfortably and linger at ease~~^^

Inside and out: family-friendly amenities

This place is so popular I booked ahead through Naver Reservation. Seeing the '2026 National Favorite Restaurant' sign at the entrance got me even more excited~!!

Inside, the space was clean and spacious — great for groups or families. The tables were nice and roomy too! The staff at the counter checked our reservation and showed us to our seats^^

I got excited just thinking about digging into Jeju pork noodle soup.

There's also a self-serve bar, so we could easily grab extra side dishes ourselves.

Myeonjumak Jeju Main Branch is also great for eating with kids — there's a baby chair and a microwave for baby food, making it easy to bring along young children.

There were plenty of thoughtful touches for customers, starting with a phone charging station.

There was also a phone stand, handy for watching videos while eating.

Coat hooks were set up too, perfect for hanging outerwear or jackets.

They even had hair ties and mouthwash — really thoughtful extras^^ It felt like a space where everyone, from kids to parents, could eat comfortably.

Menu and how to order at Myeonjumak Jeju Main Branch

Ordering was easy through a kiosk. There were all kinds of noodle menu items, and seeing that there's a separate baby noodle menu made me think this is definitely a place to visit with kids on any Jeju trip~!!

There was also a menu board on the wall with photos of each dish, easy to take in at a glance.

Myeonjumak Jeju Main Branch competes on freshness, using 100% Jeju-raised black pork and selecting the best cuts through in-house butchering, apparently. My expectations were already sky-high before I'd even eaten~~~haha

You could also order Jeju's signature hallabong juice, cheonggyul (green citrus) juice, and cheonhyehyang juice.

Eating pork noodle soup with the kids

The water that came out first wasn't plain water or barley tea — it was Jeju radish tea. Even the water tasted healthy, so I drank it right up^^

I ordered Jeju gogiguksu, bibim guksu, and mul mandu, and the side dish, mul mandu, came out first. The dumplings were steamed just right and so tasty. Eating them before the noodles arrived felt like a little appetizer^^

We also got a bowl of rice to mix into the broth, but instead of plain white rice, it was a pinkish rice that surprised the kids. From the water to the rice, everything showed how much thought the owner put in.

Then came the main event — Jeju gogiguksu. We ordered a double portion for the two elementary-age kids and a regular portion for myself, and even the regular size was huge~~!! The rich pork broth was outstanding — the soup alone was a work of art.

The Jeju black pork I'd been looking forward to was tender and never chewy, so it was perfect to eat with the kids. The noodles were chewy and clean-tasting, and eaten with the pork it was genuinely delicious^^

The kids and I finished it all up happily. Eating it, I understood exactly why this is known as a top Jeju pork noodle restaurant!!haha

If you like it spicy, go for the bibim guksu

My sister likes spicy food, so she ordered the bibim guksu — it wasn't too spicy, just the right kick, so if you're after something spicier than the mild gogiguksu, I'd recommend the bibim guksu.

After a filling lunch, there was a coffee machine, so we finished off with a cup of coffee for dessert^^

I grabbed a business card so I can come back on my next Jeju trip. If you're planning a trip around eastern Jeju, I definitely recommend having lunch at Myeonjumak Jeju Main Branch~~^^
