Group dinner spot near Incheon City Hall: rib noodle hot pot, Guksuhwa
In short
Guksuhwa is a Korean restaurant on Sorae-ro in Namdong-gu, Incheon, serving wang-galbi (king rib) noodle hot pot and kalguksu (knife-cut noodles). On a chilly evening the writer returned with her boyfriend and ordered the rib galbi noodle hot pot for two at 20,900 won per serving, which came with beef tendon, brisket and shank, then kalguksu and vegetable porridge to finish — more than two people could clear. With plenty of parking right out front and a wide hall, Guksuhwa works just as well for family meals, work dinners and wedding-invitation get-togethers.

If you're looking for a good restaurant near Incheon City Hall, you have to try Guksuhwa, which I'm introducing today!
This time I visited the Namdong branch of Guksuhwa. I had good memories of eating here with family before, so this time I came back for dinner with my boyfriend haha.
Especially now that the weather's suddenly turned chilly, a warm hot pot really hits the spot!! This time I tried their new rib galbi noodle hot pot, and the portion was generous and satisfying all the way to the end!
Where is Guksuhwa, and is there parking?
Guksuhwa is located at 565 Sorae-ro, Namdong-gu, Incheon. There's plenty of parking right in front of the restaurant, which makes it especially convenient if you're driving.

Since there's ample parking right in front, it's especially great to visit by car — perfect for family gatherings or group meals where several people are moving together!

What stood out most was that the area around the building is landscaped like a small garden, giving it a more relaxed feel than a typical restaurant.
If you're looking for a lunch or dinner spot near Incheon City Hall, Namdong-gu, or Guwol-dong, this is a great place to visit by car.
Inside Guksuhwa: the dining hall and group seating
The dining hall at Guksuhwa has a wood-tone interior and is quite spacious, so the tables never feel cramped. I saw everything from families to larger groups dining together.

Once inside, the warm wood-tone interior with natural light gives the whole place a clean, comfortable feel — visiting in the evening this time gave it a completely different vibe!
Since the restaurant itself is quite large, the tables were spaced comfortably, and I saw everyone from families to bigger groups dining together.

Rather than just being a date spot, it also works well for family dinners, company get-togethers, and other group gatherings!
Especially for things like wedding-invite gatherings or year-end parties where a bunch of people meet up, it's surprisingly hard to find a restaurant this spacious. Guksuhwa turned out to be pretty great on that front.

Oh, and they even sell convenient meal kits here?! The prices are so reasonable that picking one up seems like a good idea lol.
Guksuhwa menu and prices
Guksuhwa's signature dishes are the rib galbi noodle hot pot at ₩20,900 and the spicy shabu kalguksu at ₩15,000. On top of that, they also have crispy pork minari pancake at ₩12,000, cheese & sirloin pork cutlet at ₩13,000, minari squid stir-fry at ₩15,900, and octopus bulgogi at ₩15,000.

Guksuhwa's menu is really varied! From Korean dishes to hot pots, kalguksu, and stir-fried dishes, there's so much variety that it's great for family visits with kids or larger groups, since everyone can pick what they want >..<
How was the rib galbi noodle hot pot for two?
This time I ordered the rib galbi noodle hot pot at ₩20,900 x 2 servings. It comes with rib galbi, beef tendon, brisket, and shank, along with salad, kalguksu, and vegetable porridge.
- ✔️Rib galbi noodle hot pot ₩20,900 x 2 servings

What I ordered this time was the rib galbi noodle hot pot! It comes with rib galbi, tendon, brisket, and shank, and from the moment it arrived I was drawn in by the sheer amount of meat and the size of the galbi pieces, which looked like sanjeok (skewered meat) lol.

What I especially liked was being able to eat several different cuts at once. Among them, the tendon and shank were particularly delicious!!!!

The meat wasn't tough at all, and eating it with the broth made it warm and filling. Maybe because it was such a chilly day, this hot, hearty hot pot tasted even better!!

And it's not just the rib galbi hot pot — it comes with salad, kalguksu, and vegetable porridge too, so the meal itself feels really complete. After eating the meat, adding the kalguksu, and finishing with the porridge, I was genuinely stuffed lol.
Even though we ate it as two people, there was never a sense that the portion was lacking — if anything, we were eating slowly by the end because we were so full.

The basic side dishes, salad and kimchi, were each really tasty and clean-tasting lol. Exactly the kind of taste moms would love!
What kind of gathering suits Guksuhwa?
Visiting Guksuhwa again, I felt once more that it's a great spot for family dinners or group gatherings. The restaurant is spacious, the atmosphere is clean, and the rib galbi noodle hot pot I had this time — with meat, kalguksu, and porridge all included — was especially great for eating with several people.
