In short
Bas Burger Jamwon Branch is a handmade burger restaurant in Jamwon-dong, Seocho, Seoul, between Sinsa Station and Nonhyeon Station. You know those days when a handmade burger just calls to you! I used to work near Sinsa Station, and back then I'd order Bas Burger for delivery all the time — this time I finally went to eat it at the actual store!
I filmed myself enjoying the unlimited potato chips and a delicious handmade burger, so check that out too if you like!
Where is Bas Burger Jamwon Branch, and what are the hours?
Bas Burger Jamwon Branch is at 41 Sinbanpo-ro 47-gil, 1st floor, Seocho-gu, Seoul, South Korea. Hours are Mon-Fri 10:30-21:00, Sat-Sun 11:00-20:30.

Here's what the outside looks like! It's between Sinsa Station and Nonhyeon Station, so on weekdays it's apparently one of the hot delivery spots among nearby office workers. I'd always just ordered delivery too, but this time I decided to try a freshly made burger right at the store.

The kitchen is open-style so you can see inside, which felt reassuring! I also liked that they accept Onnuri gift certificate payments :)
How do the unlimited potato chip refills work at Bas Burger?
At Bas Burger Jamwon Branch, the potato chips come with unlimited refills in-store. Honestly, this unlimited chip refill was the exact reason I wanted to eat here in person!

Being able to keep eating crispy chips endlessly was such a plus!

They keep the chips under warm lighting so you can scoop them up while they stay hot, and they're so thin and crispy that my hand kept reaching for more! They're even better with the ketchup, mayo, and pepper set up beside them.
What to order at Bas Burger Jamwon Branch
That day at Bas Burger Jamwon Branch we ordered the Bas Burger set, a double bacon cheeseburger, and wings.

And here's today's star lineup! Bas Burger set & double bacon cheeseburger. I casually ordered 2 sets, plus wings, which go great alongside a burger! I'll give a more detailed review of each menu item below.

One of Bas Burger's appealing points is that you can customize the patty, cheese, onions, and toppings however you like!

Eating light: the lettuce bun swap at Bas Burger
At Bas Burger, you can swap the bun for lettuce instead of bread. If you're like me — wanting a burger but hoping to keep it light and diet-friendly — try switching to the lettuce bun!

It felt like eating a healthy wrap, which made it even more enjoyable! Honestly, burgers already have a great protein-carb-fat balance, but the bun tends to be the calorie-heavy part. This lets you ease your conscience a bit.

Double bacon cheeseburger and wings at Bas Burger Jamwon
Unlike your typical franchise burger chains, Bas Burger makes each burger fresh to order, handmade-style, which makes it even more appealing! I'd especially recommend the double bacon cheeseburger to properly enjoy Bas Burger's signature patty.

After going all in on the lettuce bun swap myself, the double bacon cheeseburger next to me looked so good that I ended up stealing half of it lol.

Anyone here a fan of the wings at burger joints?~ That's me right here!! I made sure to order extra wings too, and they were soft and juicy, pairing really well with the burger.

If you're ordering with a group, I'd recommend getting one shareable menu item like this for everyone to split!
If you love handmade burgers like I do, or want a delicious burger lunch somewhere between Nonhyeon Station and Sinsa Station, I especially recommend Bas Burger!!
