Busan Station milmyeon restaurant with gas-burner suyuk: Yeongdong
In short
Yeongdong Milmyeon & Dwaeji Gukbap Busan Station Branch is a milmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles) and pork soup restaurant on the 2nd floor of the building beside KTX Busan Station in Dong-gu, Busan. An office worker on a short lunch break ordered suyuk S (boiled pork, 29,000 won), kept warm on a gas burner, and mul milmyeon S (8,000 won) with a broth full of ice slush. With full-window solo seats, a baby chair and luggage storage by the entrance, Yeongdong Milmyeon suits both a speed-run weekday lunch and a stop before a train.

Hiii >.< I've only been working near Busan Station for 3 months, but I'm already deep into conquering the local lunch spots haha 🫡 Last time I loved this place so much that I decided to try their other branch — here's my review of Yeongdong Milmyeon & Dwaeji Gukbap (영동밀면&돼지국밥) Busan Station Branch.
Where is Yeongdong Milmyeon & Dwaeji Gukbap near Busan Station?
Yeongdong Milmyeon & Dwaeji Gukbap Busan Station Branch is on the 2nd floor of a building you'll see if you exit KTX Busan Station on the left side (toward Busan Port) and walk in a bit. The 1st floor is an emart24 convenience store, so use that as your landmark and you won't get lost.

Exit KTX Busan Station on the left (toward Busan Port) and head inward

1st floor is an emart24 convenience store, 2nd floor is Yeongdong Milmyeon & Dwaeji Gukbap (my Busan Station lunch spot) haha — remember, 2nd floor!

Solo seats and baby chairs inside Yeongdong Milmyeon
What stands out about Yeongdong Milmyeon & Dwaeji Gukbap Busan Station Branch is how open and spacious it feels! And the place is big enough that you probably won't have to wait (there's even luggage storage space near the entrance).

The seats for solo diners in particular face a full window view, so it's really nice to put your phone down for a bit and eat slowly while enjoying the scenery outside.

Just like the other branch, every table here has sauce, paper cups and water already set out, so it's perfect for speedrunning lunch haha ㅋㅋㅋ my lunch break is so tiny and precious ㅠㅠ ❣️

There's even a 👶🏻🪑 baby chair, so it's great for people of all ages haha. If our little ones ever visit Busan, they've gotta try milmyeon and gukbap here!

The menu: milmyeon noodles and pork soup only
True to being a Busan Station milmyeon spot, a Busan Station gukbap spot and a Busan Station lunch spot, the menu is exactly milmyeon and dwaeji gukbap (pork soup) — nothing more! The restaurant's name alone tells you how serious they are about milmyeon and pork soup ㅋ

It came out with a gas burner so I could keep eating it warm the whole time!! You guys, boiled pork is always better fresh and hot than cooled down haha.

Suyuk S for 29,000 won: served fast enough for a lunch break
✔️ Suyuk S ₩29,000. I loved it so much last time that I had to try it again ㅋㅋㅋㅋ the food came out fast enough to comfortably finish within a short lunch break ^_^ Ate until I was full and went back to work with renewed energy, a proper worker ant 🐜

Mul milmyeon S for 8,000 won: icy broth and portion size
✔️ Mul milmyeon S ₩8,000. It was sooo hot out that day 🔥🔥 so I went for a bowl of mul milmyeon (cold noodles in broth) ㅋㅋㅋ and it turned out to be the perfect choice 😉
The broth looked so refreshing with slushy ice floating in it ^ㅠ^ mixed it well with the seasoning ㅋㅋㅋ

Even the S size came with a shockingly generous amount of noodles left even after piling a full chopstick-load ㄷㄷㄷㄷ how is this only ₩8,000, do they even make a profit..? Plus the well-cooked noodles paired so well with the seasoning that I couldn't stop slurping ㅋㅋㅋ

And even without ordering suyuk separately, the milmyeon comes with two thick slices of meat on top, so meat lovers really can't ask for a better bowl of milmyeon.

How to eat the suyuk at its best
The suyuk was boiled so tender that it was delicious even plain, but I'd also recommend the special sauce that comes with it (this is genuinely the killer move) or wrapping it up with the lettuce and everything else on the side ㅋㅋㅋ honestly it's so good no matter how you eat it, so just eat it however you like!
Tried wrapping it with the milmyeon too, and once again I ate really, really well 💪💪 and thanks to being so full that afternoon (?), I somehow worked even harder ㅎ
