I have a camping trip coming up, so I visited On Saenghwal (온생활), a home-goods discount store in Seohae, to browse camping supplies.

On Saenghwal is large, spanning the first and second floors, so once you start looking around, time really flies by.

Second-floor group-buying and home-goods section

There was a special section near the second-floor entrance: the On Saenghwal group-buying section.

In the On Saenghwal group-buying section, I found a range of home items such as small appliances and bedding at online lowest prices. There were also food items including pink salt, oil, perilla oil, and honey, so keep that in mind.

As you would expect from a home-goods specialty store, there were all sorts of products, including wall clocks, pajamas, and umbrellas.

They also stock light bulbs by type, so you do not necessarily need to hunt down a hardware store. It seemed like a good place to stop by when you urgently need to replace a bulb.

There were various hardware supplies and tools, too. In particular, they had shovels and caster wheels, so it looked like a good place to find suitable materials for DIY repairs.

Camping fire pits and barbecue supplies

I found the camping fire pits I had been wondering about! Being able to see and choose a camping fire pit with a suitable size and durability in person was a real advantage. Along with fire pits, there were plenty of camping barbecue supplies: lightweight stoves, portable gas burners, isobutane gas, butane gas, charcoal and other fuels, plus stainless-steel camping tableware.

There were also extension reels, an essential camping item. They mostly had 10 m reels, so keep that in mind if you need one.

I also found pop-up mosquito nets for three to four people. In weather like this, they would be useful not only for camping but also for outings to the park or at home. Below them were carts; the basket-style carts looked convenient for grocery runs to a nearby market.

As the weather turns colder, I am sure there are lots of people taking up knitting as a hobby. They have yarn as well, so take note.

Pet supplies, appliances, and commercial tableware

The dog-supplies section was especially well organized. There were pet treats, food, bowls, and more, so have a look.

There were small appliances such as blenders and shaved-ice machines, and even corded telephones.

Large pots like these are hard to find, but at On Saenghwal you can look at large commercial stockpots, trays, colanders, and more. I recommend it to restaurant owners around Seohae-gu Office Station. They said heavy items can be delivered for orders over a certain amount, so using the delivery service would be convenient.

Toys and tropical fish to browse with children

I often saw children at On Saenghwal, and this toy section and tropical-fish section explained why. The toys were discounted too, so it would be a nice place to stop by if you are looking for a small gift for a niece or nephew ahead of the upcoming holiday. Tropical fish are available only in person, and it is nice that you can see them here at On Saenghwal without going all the way to a large supermarket.

There were also lots of bulky bathroom items, such as toilet-seat covers and bathroom stools, as well as basic beauty products like sunscreen and gray-hair dye. It really felt like there was nothing they did not have.

Further inside on the first floor was a section gathering office supplies and stationery. Since On Saenghwal offers discounts, purchasing managers at public offices around Seohae-gu Office may find it useful when they need office supplies.
