Couple photo studio in Aewol, Jeju for anniversary snaps: Eoeum-ri

Whenever we visit Jeju, we love going to a studio for photos. It's nice to look back on the memories, and since we go to Jeju every year, we can see how we've slowly changed year to year — it's basically become one of our annual routines haha. This year we booked our accommodation near Aewol, so while looking for a studio nearby with a good vibe, we found Eoeum-ri Photo Studio. Here's our review after the shoot~

Where is Eoeum-ri Photo Studio, and how do you book and park?

As the name suggests, Eoeum-ri Photo Studio is in Eoeum-ri, Aewol-eup — being an Aewol photo studio, it's really close to Aewol itself. We booked through Naver Reservation. Slots run from 9am in 1-hour intervals, so we booked the 10am slot!!

If you follow the navigation, it tends to guide you down a back road. You park in a spot that makes you wonder if it's even the right place, but the shoot happens on the right side! The owner came out from the building on the left to guide us.

So many people had already been here! We agonized over the choice too, but the photos in the reviews were so pretty that we ended up picking Eoeum-ri Photo Studio! It had that Jeju feeling but also a unique color tone that was totally my style. We could also look at other people's shots, which gave us tons of pose tips. And the photographer just handled everything so well. The shooting time wasn't long either, which was actually a plus!

There are various shooting spots! The first location is the snap photo spot, and the jeep shots are also taken at the hackberry tree + jeep snap spot!

This spot is indoors. After the snap shoot, you can freely take photos here and hang out while waiting for the prints. The pictures come out surprisingly great here too!!

There's a wide variety of props too, so if you bring a baby you can shoot lots of different scenes, and couples can capture a proper commemorative photo with that Jeju feeling.

Before heading out for the snap shoot, you can fix your hair here haha. We booked and shot the 2 snap cuts + 20-minute self-photo (2 people) package for 50,000 won!! If the weather had just been a bit better, I really wanted to do the hackberry tree snap, but of all days ㅠㅠ there was a typhoon, so the wind was… the wind was really something. Everyone, please go shoot on a nice weather day.

What the 20-minute self-photo session in the private studio is like

For the 20-minute self-photo session at Eoeum-ri Photo Studio, they connect a bluetooth remote to a tripod so you shoot with your own phone. Since it's just the two of us alone for 20 minutes with no one else around, it felt more comfortable and we ended up posing much more naturally!

Isn't this too cute haha. There are huge oversized bags and hats too, so you can really nail a concept shoot. My husband usually feels awkward taking photos like this, but with the variety of props and it being just the two of us, he ended up posing and shooting really comfortably and having a lot of fun.

There's a mirror right in front, so you can check your pose and whether you're centered while shooting, which made the results even more satisfying!! From vintage cameras to Jeju's symbolic tangerines, the props fill up your awkward, empty hands haha.

There was even an empty makgeolli (rice wine) bottle to hold for photos. Jeju makgeolli is just so cute. Getting to take so many good photos during the 20 minutes while waiting made me really glad we chose Eoeum-ri Photo Studio as our Aewol photo studio~!

How the anniversary snap prints turned out in typhoon weather

What we received from Eoeum-ri Photo Studio was two printed photos. We worried whether outdoor shooting would even be possible with the typhoon winds blowing like crazy, but there was a real expert who managed to pull it off..!!

They said it's Eoeum-ri Photo Studio's own signature filter~ It had this soft, hazy yet warm feeling, and we were super happy with it. We shot these for our 3rd wedding anniversary, and I already want to come back again next year haha.
