Sinnonhyeon café parking and afternoon snack corner: Selecto Coffee
In short
Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch 24 Auto Brew Cafe is a 24-hour bakery café a 3-minute walk from Exit 1 of Sinnonhyeon Station in Seocho, Seoul. On a quiet mid-afternoon stop, the writer ordered a sweet pumpkin egg sandwich for 7,000 won and an Americano with a choice of beans, then looked around the snack and salad corner and the wide outdoor terrace. Parking is not allowed in front of Selecto Coffee, so a nearby paid public lot is the option, but a café open through the night and early morning is worth saving.

Today I stopped by Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch, a 24-hour café near Sinnonhyeon Station. The place is spacious and the menu is varied, so let me walk you through it in detail.
Where is Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon, and where do you park?

It's close by, just a 3-minute walk from Exit 1 of Sinnonhyeon Station. It's staffed from morning to evening, but runs as an unmanned café after 10pm on weekdays and 9pm on weekends. Parking isn't available right in front of the store — you'll need a nearby paid public parking lot. (Just a heads-up: parking in front of the store can get you fined.)

The terrace in front of the store is spacious, so there's plenty of outdoor seating. The weather's suddenly turned cool lately, and it's gorgeous out — having a coffee here felt really healing.

The inside was bigger and more pleasant than I expected. Every seat has an outlet, and the seats themselves are roomy — and to think this is a 24-hour café...!!

This seems like a great place to stop by later if I have something to do in the early morning. Spots like this are worth bookmarking and keeping in mind, haha. Even though I visited at a pretty odd hour, there were a lot of people. It already seems like a fairly well-known café. I love that it's always open, whether it's early morning or late at night.
Menu, prices, and how kiosk ordering works

You order by kiosk at Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch. The drink lineup is huge — smoothies, coffee, lattes, milk tea, you name it! With so many options, it's easy to pick something to your taste.

Besides coffee, there were also bagels, cakes, salads, sandwiches, and simple chips.

There's a wide variety of grab-and-go snacks too, so it seems like a good spot for nearby office workers to pick up a quick bite.

It also seems great for brunch, since there are sandwiches and salads — good for nearby office workers looking for a simple breakfast or lunch. I liked that there were plenty of options for a light snack or a meal substitute.

How the 5-bean Americano and sweet pumpkin egg sandwich taste

At Selecto Coffee Sinnonhyeon Branch, you could choose the beans for your Americano. It was nice being able to drink it to my taste. The portion was generous too, and it paired well with the bread.

Not many cafés these days let you choose your beans, but here there were as many as five options.
- Mocha Blend — cherished chocolate flavor with a heavy body
- Blue Mountain Blend — fruity sweetness with a juicy body
- Hwasa (Ethiopia Blend) — subtle acacia aroma with fruity acidity
- Geisha (Geisha Blend) — the so-called god-given Geisha blend
- Decaf (sugarcane process) — sweet molasses flavor
The descriptions were well written, with notes on acidity and body, which made choosing easy. It seemed like it'd be fun to try each one in turn.

Sweet pumpkin egg sandwich, ₩7,000. Ta-da — I went with the sweet pumpkin egg sandwich. It was an odd time to have a full meal, and I was a bit peckish, so I picked the sandwich, and it was a huge success. Since I went in the afternoon, a few items were already sold out.
It's cut in half for easy eating, and filled with lettuce, egg, onion, and sweet pumpkin. All the ingredients were fresh, giving it a nice texture that worked well together. There was plenty of sauce, but it wasn't a heavy-handed sandwich — more of a gentle, healthy flavor true to the base ingredients.
