Order for two Medium direct-fire grilled pork bones 2 bowls of rice

You can order directly from the kiosk at your table. Right after ordering, a robot brings the basic side dishes and small plates. The robot-delivered sides were kimchi and kkakdugi (cubed radish kimchi)!

There is a self-service bar by the windows that you can use comfortably. The side dishes, small plates, and aprons are all there.

Besides kimchi and kkakdugi, you can get pickled onions, peppers, and ssamjang (savory dipping paste) at the self-service bar. It was managed so cleanly that I could eat without worry.

All the basic side dishes at Nuri Maeul Gamjatang Itaewon Branch were neat and tasty. Especially the pickled onions! Their tangy flavor was excellent.
Medium direct-fire grilled bones: our meal for two
Medium direct-fire grilled pork bones

We ordered the direct-fire grilled bones. It came with as many as eight large pork backbone pieces, and the two of us were incredibly full. ※ Please note that the direct-fire grilled bones take about 20 minutes after ordering!

The direct-fire grilled bones also come with salad and ramen noodles, and the noodles were seriously delicious. They had that kind of ramen tossed in Jicoba-style sauce! We each had a bowl of rice with the medium grilled bones, and we were so full.

Complimentary broth with the direct-fire grilled bones
When you order direct-fire grilled bones at Nuri Maeul Gamjatang Itaewon Branch, you also receive complimentary gamjatang broth. Even though it was complimentary, they gave us a full ttukbaegi (earthenware bowl), packed with ingredients besides meat too.
When the grilled bones started to feel spicy, it was perfect for calming things down with white rice and the gamjatang broth! Even though the broth had only other ingredients and no meat, it tasted great. Next time, I would like to come back for gamjatang too.
Because it is a 24-hour restaurant right by Itaewon Station, there were lots of people there for hangover meals and lots of international visitors too. Places open 24 hours can sometimes be messy, but Nuri Maeul Gamjatang Itaewon Branch was very clean, making it an Itaewon gamjatang spot where I could eat with peace of mind.
