Exterior and reservations

It is easy to get to by car or public transport, which is another reason I wanted to recommend it. There are also so many stylists, so you can choose one based on the style you want—so convenient.

This is always a busy place, so I recommend booking at least 2–3 days ahead. You can conveniently book through Naver Reservation, so keep that in mind!

A bustling yet spacious, comfortable interior

It was really packed with people—so I guess its reputation for doing hair well is no lie! Every stylist was busy with a client.

The interior was spacious and comfortable enough for lots of people, and even the flow through the salon was perfectly laid out. Trainees also help out, so my hair was finished earlier than I expected, which was great.

It also had a convenient kiosk check-in system. You can sample perfumes while waiting, and there is a well-prepared area to rest in, so nothing felt lacking. I thought it would be perfect for family or friends who come along with you, too.

I had my perm done in the space right next door. Apparently, this is a shared space for the head director and Senior Designer Bandal! Both of them are always fully booked, so this area filled up in no time too!!

I did not have a particular hairstyle in mind, so I asked for a recommendation for something that would suit me. Bandal said a softly falling build perm would suit me better than anything too heavy, so we got started right away. Allow a comfortable 3 hours for it 😍😍

Before: long hair grown out without styling

It had been quite a while since I had done anything to my hair, and I am the type who does not style it—I usually just give it a quick blow-dry! My hair had grown so long it was hard to manage, and the texture was damaged too, so I decided to get a perm while taking some length off.

First, Bandal carefully gave me a cut that suited me! The gentle way Bandal spoke made the whole visit even more comfortable.

Bandal also kindly showed me how to style my face-framing pieces. From which way would be best to wear them to the treatment itself, nothing was uncomfortable at all. Bandal has such a lovely personality and speaks so gently, so I felt completely at ease.

QR drink ordering and shampoo-room services

What really surprised me was that they had set things up so you could order drinks by QR code! You can freely order whatever drink you want, and even have hotteok (sweet filled pancake) and toast if you get peckish—I was touched by the service! They brought everything right to my seat, so I could enjoy it comfortably.

Other than the gown, they use disposable items, which made the hygiene feel even more trustworthy.

Everything was done so carefully that I could see why this place is so well known.

Every shampoo room has a massage chair, so I got to enjoy one while having my hair washed! 😍 I was surprised that everything finished sooner than expected, and the comfortable space made the time fly by!

Build perm after: a changed-up mood

It is definitely a completely different mood after, right? I suddenly feel so much more feminine, haha. It is not just me who thinks so, right? My mom immediately asked if I had done my hair and said I looked sooo much more feminine!
