Gangseo Seoul Korean restaurant with a full soju and cocktail bar
In short
Gungmin Nakgopsae Gangseo Branch is a nakgopsae (octopus, beef intestine and shrimp stew) restaurant near Balsan Station Exit 6 in Gangseo, Seoul. The writer ordered the Korean beef intestine nakgopsae (medium) for ₩32,900 with rice cake and glass noodle sides, perilla leaf and pickled radish wraps, and finished with fried rice, noting a rare-for-the-genre drinks menu of midori sour, Jack Daniel's, highballs and omija (schisandra berry) Saero soju. Does everyone love spicy food? I've been craving something fiery lately haha. So today, after my boyfriend got a see-through dandy cut at a hair salon near Magok/Balsan, we headed to a nakgopsae place nearby 💜

Location and hours of Gungmin Nakgopsae Gangseo Branch
📍330 Gangseo-ro, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, 1st floor / ⏰ Daily 11:00–22:00, last order 21:00 / 🅿️ Parking available
📍It's close as soon as you come out of Balsan Station Exit 6! The storefront looked clean and bright too!!!

We came for nakgopsae after a while, but they also had spicy chicken feet soup, real fire-grilled chicken feet, and aged kimchi gopdori-tang!!👀 I've been wanting chicken feet lately, so this looked delicious…💕
A spot that's great for group dinners
The interior is spacious, so it's possible to book the whole place or hold group gatherings 💛
Clean and comfortable inside — this looks like such a good spot for company dinners around Balsan and Magok!
With HD screens for watching soccer or baseball together, it seems perfect for everything from small get-togethers to full-on dinners!!

This is a genuine hotspot — even celebrities have been here!!😎

The restroom is really well done too!! It's stylishly decorated! I even took a few photos in there haha

A drinks menu you don't usually see at a nakgopsae restaurant
They had special drink options you rarely see at nakgopsae places — midori sour, Jack Daniel's, highballs 🍹✨

The owner definitely knows their drinks!!!👀

They even had the omija Saero I've really wanted to try!!! There were so many varieties of Saero, but since it was a Monday,,,😢 we skipped the alcohol! Next time I'm definitely trying the omija Saero!!

Ordering the Korean beef intestine nakgopsae (medium)
We ordered using the tablet on the table!!
- ✔️ Korean beef intestine nakgopsae (medium), ₩32,900

There was a note on the table about ✅ how to eat nakgopsae the best way, so I followed it while eating!! 👀
✅ There's also a receipt review event with decent perks~~! Worth joining! haha
We put on the aprons provided and got ready to dig in!!💜

The octopus is big and meaty
Such a neat, delicious-looking nakgopsae spread!! Mouth-watering already!
What struck me most was how big and plump the octopus pieces were! 🐙
Every ingredient felt fresh!!

The banchan (side dishes) were laid out with perilla leaves, pickled radish, white kimchi, seaweed soup, and mayo sauce — the combo with the main dish was seriously amazing~ 🥬

There was also a generous amount of rice cake and glass noodles inside, so the chewy texture was on point!

Savory, chewy beef intestine, springy octopus, and fresh shrimp all coming together in an addictively spicy flavor!!

Put a piece of pickled radish on a perilla leaf, add plump octopus and beef intestine, dip lightly in the mayo sauce, and it's pure bliss, yum yum 😋

The portion was huge!!
When it got too spicy, a spoonful of seaweed soup helped — it paired really well with the spicy nakgopsae!
The rice cake and glass noodles were so chewy too!!

The lighting was soft and so pretty, so the food looked great and the photos turned out great too~ haha

Finishing with fried rice
We wrapped up with fried rice~ first, we moved the leftover nakgopsae onto a small plate!

The owner added the rice and mixed it all up skillfully!

Even cracked an egg in there for good measure!!
Rice fried in the rich leftover sauce is an absolute must,,,💜 so delicious!!
We scraped the pan clean! haha Now I understand why Gungmin Nakgopsae Gangseo Branch is known as a top Magok dinner spot haha

Final thoughts
Delivery is really popular here too!! It was a drizzly day when we visited, and I thought ordering delivery to eat nakgopsae at home would be so nice too!! haha
A spacious, comfortable space, friendly service, and fresh ingredients! Such a satisfying meal! 🥰 If you love nakgopsae, or you're looking for a hearty, delicious meal near Gangseo, or a gathering spot around Magok and Balsan, I'd recommend visiting 📍Gungmin Nakgopsae Gangseo Branch 💛
