Terrace seafood feast in Gangseo, Seoul: Singsing Hoe Susan Sijang
In short
Singsing Hoe Susan Sijang Magoknaru Station Direct Branch is a seafood restaurant in Gangseo, Seoul. An early Saturday terrace visit brought flounder, rockfish, salmon, generous side dishes, and wonderfully fresh, springy raw fish. Verdict: a cool, market-style spot worth revisiting for a full raw-fish spread.

While on a date with my boyfriend in Magoknaru, we were debating what to eat when I suddenly craved raw fish for the first time in ages—so we visited Singsing Hoe Susan Sijang Magoknaru Branch (싱싱회 수산시장 마곡나루점) 🐟

We visited early on a Saturday~~ Even then, there were so many people that I thought, ah, this really must be a great raw-fish place in Magoknaru—we picked well >_<

A semi-outdoor market atmosphere on the terrace
We sat on the terrace. Right behind us, shrimp were flapping about, and before I knew it my mouth was watering like crazy 🦐🦐 I absolutely looove shrimp too, but..! We came for raw fish today, so I looked awayyy 🤭

How do you choose raw fish and seafood?
As you would expect from a famous raw-fish restaurant in Magoknaru, there were all kinds of seafood dishes!! You could choose menus with or without seukki (included side dishes) ☺ There was so much seafood that this seafood lover wanted to try it all 🥺🥹🤤

There were so many side dishes too~~ It felt like they had every single thing you could possibly see at a raw-fish restaurant!! We ordered 💙flounder + rockfish + salmon with included side dishes💙.

A generous spread of side dishes arrived right after ordering
The banchan (side dishes) came out practically at the same time as we ordered! I had read reviews saying the seukki spread was incredibly varied, but it really was an amazing lineup 🫢

There was corn cheese, albap (fish roe rice), and fried shrimp too!! I was already drooling,, 🤤 Then came steamed egg, mussel soup, and butter-grilled king oyster mushrooms 🫢😳 As a steamed-egg lover, I was so happy,, 💛

When I saw that dubu kimchi (tofu with stir-fried kimchi) was included too, I thought—with only a tiny bit of exaggeration—that we could get full just on this~~ And even on its own, it would be the perfect soju snack >_<
Fresh, springy flounder, rockfish, and salmon
And soon after, the raw fish arrived quickly too 🤤 Just like the name Singsing Hoe Susan Sijang suggests, it all looked so fresh 🫢 The name really says it all~~~
The terrace had air-conditioning, so we could enjoy a cool setting that still had that outdoor-market feel 👩❤️👨 I really recommend the terrace if you visit. It is comfortable but completely has that semi-outdoor vibe,, 💖

Can you see how it was truly a full-table spread, enough to fill the table completely? 🥺 I cannot believe there is a raw-fish restaurant like this in Magok—I am making it my go-to spot whenever I crave raw fish,, 🩷

As a salmon lover, I polished off an entire row of salmon by myself 👉👈 Then my boyfriend and I finished a whole platter of raw fish in no time 🤭 It was so fresh and delightfully springy that we just inhaled it 👉👈 Is this not Gangseo-gu's version of Noryangjin~~? 🐟💙

We enjoyed the raw fish and soju with the Ganetok my boyfriend had brought along~~ I think we will come back for delicious yellowtail when winter yellowtail season returns 🤤💙💙 It would be perfect for a work dinner too, so I recommend everyone visit and enjoy some tasty raw fish ❤️
