Weekend lunch waiting with a baby at Extra Mile, Gwangalli, Busan

I went out to Gwangalli today for the first time in a while and stopped by Extra Mile, a pizza place everyone raves about 🍕🍝 It's definitely a hotspot — I went during weekend lunch hours and there were tons of people.

We had to wait, and since we had a baby we asked for a table-for-three haha. The seats were spacious, so it was really nice going with a baby.

There's no separate parking lot so we parked on the roadside, and the waiting area was set up in the shade, so waiting wasn't too rough haha. We actually used the courtyard time to practice our son's walking and take lots of photos.

The place itself is so pretty and the staff were kind — a restaurant that just puts you in a good mood 💚 Lots of couples on dates, but also great for families like us!!

Coloring at the table while we waited

They have colored pencils and coloring paper ready at the table. We colored while waiting for the food and my son loved it hehe.

A set perfect for two, ordered as a half-and-half pizza

They have a pizza-and-pasta set that's perfect for two people!! It was so nice to have a set option. Half-and-half pizza is possible, so we ordered hot pepperoni and potato pizza together haha.

It's always a shame when you can only get one flavor, so being able to have two was great. Gwangalli Beach is just a short walk from here, so we headed straight to the beach after pizza.

Potato pizza

The pizza here is different from other places — the toppings are laid on thin! That's totally the kicker.

There's ham in between too, and the potato + cheese + ham combo needs no explaining ~!~! Salty and totally moreish.

Hot honey pepperoni pizza

If you like spicy pizza, I'd recommend the hot honey pepperoni. Loaded with ham and just a bit spicy — such a great combo. The cheese here stretches so much~~~~~good good 👍 The dough is pure and simple, and chewy too, so I enjoyed it right down to the last bite.

Bisque cream pasta

The bisque cream pasta has gamtae seaweed on top and the shrimp is the real deal. The staff explained that it's tastier if you eat it together with the gamtae rather than mixing it in, so I did that, and it was seriously delicious,,

The tables were set up for comfortable dining, and the atmosphere overall made me like it even more ❕ Great for a date, and great to go with a kid too. That's my review of Extra Mile, a Gwangalli favorite 🩵
