What are the seats like for eating alone near Ewha Womans University?

Sunhui Dining (순희다이닝) was on the second floor along Ewha yeodae-gil. I visited outside mealtime, so it was relatively quiet, and the interior felt bright and neat.

There were quite a few seats that were good for dining alone, and I could order from a tablet at each table. With so many schools nearby, I thought it would be a decent place to stop by for a solo meal.

What is on the menu?

The menu was simply made up of two kinds of butadon (Japanese pork rice bowl) and galbi rice (rice topped with stir-fried short rib), along with drinks. I tried all three dishes.

What can you use at the self-service bar?

The self-service bar had bowls and basic side dishes ready. You could refill the warm clear soup and rice, which seemed like it would be helpful for anyone with a big appetite.

Which was more memorable, the butadon or galbi rice?

Everything was tasty overall, but the butadon suited me better. The smoky flavor from the stir-fried meat and the sauce went well with the rice, and although it was described as spicy, it was not very spicy for me.

Adding wasabi made the combination even better. I finished the meal neatly with the galbi rice topped with stir-fried galbi meat, too.

What is it like for a meal around Ewha Womans University and Sinchon?

With seats for solo diners and an easy ordering system, it was a good place to eat alone. It was also a perfectly fine meal before continuing on toward Sinchon for a date or a walk after eating near Ewha Womans University.
