Ahead of our wedding photos, I went with my fiancé to Divers Barbershop Gangnam-gu Office Station Branch (다이버스 바버샵 강남구청역점) to tidy up his hair. His hair was quite curly and had grown out a lot, so we decided he would get a cut and a down perm at this men-only hair salon.

The interior had a cozy feel. Men's grooming products were set out on the vanity, which made the men-only space stand out.
At our booked time, one stylist handled my fiancé's service throughout. I liked that they looked over his hair condition and took time to consider the style.
How did the cut and down perm for curly hair go?
Before the service, his very curly hair had been grown out quite long. They first tidied up the length with a cut, then proceeded with the down perm.
The stylist considered both the strong curl pattern and the fact that the wedding photos were not far away. They explained that they would do the down perm by flattening the middle section slightly. I liked that they considered the timing of the shoot as well.
How were the finished Gyle cut and service time?
I remember the whole service taking about 1 hour 30 minutes. The finished style was a Gyle cut, and the stylist recommended it as a style that would also suit the wedding photos.
Once his long hair was trimmed and styled, he looked much neater. I thought it suited my fiancé well, and I was satisfied because it achieved what we had come for: getting his hair ready before the photos.
